Blackface is when you darken your skin tone to an unnatural degree in order to portray a black person in a silly and exaggerated way, mocking the way they look.
What this girl did was not that, she kept all of her natural features and only darkened her skin to resemble a black person in a celebratory and respectful way. She loves all of the looks she created as equal and what she did was represent every ethnicity with the utter most respect.

    just a heads up
(and im saying this because i feel like a lot of the people freaking out aren’t even afro (another term for afro-descent) themselves and they’re going crazy about the african based look)
*blackface* is when you’re making/mocking afro-centric culture with malicious intent. this makeup artist is not only doing it in a non-malicious way, but she’s also showing off other ethnicities and stating how beautiful they all are as a symbol of acceptance no matter who they are. it’s not a way of “i don’t see race” but instead it’s “i see and value the features of other ethnicities and i appreciate them” and that’s powerful.
*blackfishing* is saying she wants to become those ethnicities for LIFE. this is a temporary display of her talents.

According to a Wikipedia article that I didn't have to look at for a long time to understand, blackface is meant to be a form of mockery towards black people. William H. West was the man who created blackface where he made his lips larger, face brown, and eyes uncomfortably larger. While in some cases black people can have larger features, this is just a common stereotype that white people like to make. In short, blackface is a way to make black people ugly and stupid looking. This woman is not doing that. While making herself appear black, at the same time she's making herself look beautiful (because black woman are beautiful. Shoot,my lesbian is kicking in). It's not blackface if you don't have the intent to be racist. Hope this helps :).
(BTW if I came off as racist in some ways, I apologies. I'm not racist, I love everyone equally (except for my enemy, but we're the same race so it's ok))

She is from Asia, she has no obligation on knowing what's wrong over there, just as much as you may not now what's offensive in Asia. And she didn't offend anyone, she did it respectfully showing how every woman is beautiful.
