    If the section plane cuts at a distance of 10mm, then shouldn't we supposed to draw a circle of 10mm from its center and then draw the inclined line from its tangent?

    A cube of 65mm long edge has its vertical faces inclined to v.p. . It is cut by a section plane , perpendicular to v. p. , so that the true shape of the section is regular hexagon . Determine the inclination of cutting plane with the h.p. and draw the sectional top view and true shape of the section .

    Hey sir .. I think that at 6:11 , OC should be 10mm and not Ob , u hv taken on as 10
    Do correct me where I'm wrong...🤔

    • @ManasPatnaikofficial
      @ManasPatnaikofficial  5 років тому

      Why would OC be 10 mm. Its mentioned very clearly in the problem that the section (AVP) passes 10 mm infront of the axis and point B does infact lie 10 mm infront of axis (which looks like a point). Just think about it ridhi....watch the animation again.

    Sir How can Show Section line In this?

  • @akshayahlawat3906
    @akshayahlawat3906 Рік тому

    . A right circular cone, diameter of base 60 mm and height 70 mm, rests on its base on HP. A section plane
    perpendicular to HI and inclined at 45 degrees to the VP cuts the cone and is 10 min infront of the axis.
    Draw its top view, sectional front view and true shape of the section.

    Hey the auxiliary plane is which I mean AIP or AVP
    Is it AVP ?if yes then y not Auxiliary inclined plane(AIP)
    How to judge which to take?
    Please reply soon

      +Thakkar Taniya
      Try to read the problem description carefully.....
      If the cutting plane is perpendicular to VP and inclined to HP then its an AIP....
      And
      If the cutting plane is perpendicular to HP and inclined to VP then its an AVP....

      Or is it like cutting plane is perpendicular to hp and therefore we use Auxillary vertical plane( AVP )?? Or some other reason?
