Hi, I watched the whole video as I always watch these kind of videos, living on my own there are things that I need to learn and do it myself such as plumbing and minor electrical works and over the years I can do things that other women can't. Thanks for sharing your expertise
Hi those are threaded sch. 80 unions and de pending on you pipe size you’ll find them at a irrigation supplier. You can find the sch. 40 at homedepot or other hardware stores but they are not UV protected so you would have rap it with tape or cover it
@@escompleteyardwork2984alves can last ten years or more so I don't think the O rings will be a issue Those unions have saved my ass many times on repairs and my customers money So the O rings are easily replaced later on if needed
Do you prefer Irritrol or Rainbird valves The Irritrol has a narrower pipe spacing than the Rainbird and that comes in handy in certain situations I like that you can just unscrew the bonnet and replace with a new one easily But both are good reliable valves in my opinion

They can last 10 years or more. For my experience no trouble at all.
