Oh, this breaks my heart. Now I wanna write a Hashirama and Madara centric time travel story. This AMV keeps singing "Let's start over. It's not over. . ." Damn you.
This might be really late to tell you about, but there's a fanfic called Palingenesis that explores this concept. It's a really good fic, but it may or may not be quite what you had in mind.

I loved their friendship better than Naruto and Sasuke's to be honest. This AMV really was perfect though, the video editing and the song choice!

There was never a real friendship between Sasuke and Naruto, because Sasuke was not behaving like a friend.

@@LocalHobo631 yh the thing with naruto x sasuke is that they re not open abt it, they dont show it but instead carry things inside 4 their own reasons but with the end of naruto- flashback-swing purgatory😂, u can see their friendship from way back b4 they knew each other and they were finally able to rlly communicate. Its a lovely story. HOWEVER sasuke in early shippuden is a different story lmao🤣. But he was lost tho nd uno communication was lacking 😂. He was lost is all i can say but they do and always ve had a special relationship as well as rivalry
