I love how MK1 Takeda is basically the equivalent of Symbiote Spider-Man in stark comparison to how quippy and laid-back he was in MKX. Bro is a badass, no matter the timeline.

It's kind of heartwarming seeing old Takeda and new Takeda's dialogues. It's nice knowing that the Kombat kids still exist somewhere.

Unless the one who said that is the alternate one.
I think Rain's information was limited to Outworld only. Daegon in MK1 seems to reside in Earthrealm.

Saurian is the species name. Zaterran is the nationality name. Khameleon isn't from Zaterra.

SSKJL was a failure so WB needs to figure this out. Story mode dlc and new dlc characters would help.
Takeda had a relationship with Jax’s daughter Jacqui in the previous timeline. And they were about to be engaged (as mentioned time again in MK 11).
That is until Kronika came in, and history has been rewritten. It sucks that we never get a chance to have a wedding ceremony in the Shirai Ryu way.
I hoped NRS can somehow bring her back as a DLC character. Takeda x Jacqui is my favorite Mortal Kombat pair besides Liu Kang and Kitana.

Why does it seem like recordings for Takeda's intros happened later down the line? Nitara only having 4 intros instead of 8, some characters like Geras and Omni-Man sounding different than usual, and JCVD not having anything at all

I'm gonna be honest, I like that he's still basically MKX Takeda, but I loved the idea that he was the cousin Kenshi, hunting him down for the Yakuza clan and is evil this time around. Spice things up and make the Yakuza clan a part of this universe even more by having Tadeka represent them. Though, then again, NRS would then just make Takeda a jobber if they did that, so I guess he's better off still a good guy
