- After nearly 17 months, Howard Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers returned to his studio last Wednesday, following her battle with uterine cancer. Robin opened up to "Extra" special correspondent (and Howard's wife) Beth Stern, about how the "AGT" judge helped her through. "It was rough for all of us because right away he took it to heart and I think he was more concerned for me than I was concerned myself."
I LOVE how much Howard and Robin love each other.
God bless Howard stern! You can see right away what a great human being he is!

Marceline Abadeer he can be a super huge asshole but he does have a heart. She's been there since the very very beginning and they've gotten obviously really close, it'd be impossible for him to not have to end the show if something like that happened.
But the difference is if Fred or Gary die the show goes on if Robin dies he ends the show when contracts up

***** bullshit, people said the same thing about jackie, and about artie, and about the howard TV people...the fact is, all of them were great for the show, and the show is worse without those people. but at it's core, at the very least, The show is Howard, Fred, and Robin. I think Howard and Fred and Robin are the key, if you lose any one of them, it's not "the Howard Stern show" any more. If Howard continued the show without Robin or Fred, it would be like Paul Mcartney going on tour as "the Beatles" without John and George.

Howard loves Robin so much, they truly are the best of friends. I imagine it must be pretty hard to be in Beth's shoes knowing Howard's love for Robin. I think that Robin is his true soulmate.

My main complaint with Beth's interview was the constant need to be acknowledged for her participation during the experience.

This is a sham piece hidden behind Robin’s cancer recovery - pretty sad. They are all promoting something:
1. Howard - was trying to change his image to appeal to Midwestern housewives along with going on AGT. It sort of worked, but in the process he lost 95% of his fan base and failed to gain him many new fans, making him almost completely irrelevant today.
2. Beth - this is one of the many gigs that Howard and Howard’s production company & agent Don tried to get for Beth to get her career going. It never happened (bc she has no talent and has an annoying personality.
3. Robin was selling a book at the time.
Talking to a woman who has Cancer and say to her that is was so hard on HOWARD!!!

You're literally talking to the person who had cancer but the focus is on how her cancer made Howard sad. Robin gracefully sidestepped it with "it was a rough year for all of us".

Howard has great persuasive abilities but Robin has an impeccable sense of logic. In fact, I'm curious as to what her academic background is.
she got her nursing degree and worked in the military and then she got her degree in communications. i'm just saying that off the top of my head, but from what I remember, that's her academic background. she is pretty smart. it's weird though that people think she's not intelligent. i don't get it.
Her bachelor's degree is in nursing & she was a Sr. LT in the USAF. After she went to broadcasting & journalism school and was on-air talent / news woman in radio for about 2-3 yrs before meeting Howard.

I was a huge Howard Stern fan back in the 1980s when he was on local radio in the afternoon. I was cracking up the whole show, and then when he switched to early morning radio, I would wake up to him on my clock radio every morning. I think his show started at like 5:00 AM or something. I'd wake up laughing every morning. He used to marvel at how deep his voice was that early in the morning, and do bits on it. The good old days.
