Just tell the truth. You could not be bothered to spend time with the woman you were portraying because you were to busy being pampered. Since she was with Picasso from the mid 40s to mid 50s, how could McElhone study her character and provide a realistic portrayal? She couldn't; therefore, rely on looks rather than substance.
