Dear BOB, i hope you enjoy your build, it's very complex, requieres a lot of time and patience. Share with me your thougts and pictures when you finish your model. Best wishes for you!!
I have the same one it is very nice. It took some time and building but finaly it works. I build mine only whit plastic and glue. It is moving like real.
+Lee78072 The tricky things about this model are wheel mechanisms. you sohuld sand it well to get a correct fit. The are some pieces that are too thin, and might broke. just be carefull.
+ashley denbigh I built the BR 52 model, and the wheels did not move. I think the plastic is not strong enough to move the rods and wheels. It would be nice, because that is one of the most fascinating things to watch on a steam locomotive.
+ashley denbigh the complete wheel mechanism can move, but i don't recomend to do it, because plastic is too weak and might break, i just left them steady. it's your choice. regards
+Jaroslav J. Peterka Hey, thanks! The photo etch came in and I think it's awesome. So tiny! The bolts heads are to be folded, and just over 1mm long! Insane! I am laughing now, but the model itself will be here soon, and the laughter will stop... and hard work begin! That's what I signed up for. I love Trumpeter models.
Excellent work and very helpful too. I’m starting mine this week. Thank you. From Rob, United Kingdom

FUR BR 86 :
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Хорошая работа
Es una maquina br 86 escala 1:35, la consegui en jugueteria alemana. Vale $70.000 ( precio 2013).
very nice work... please what color code do you use for the red and black (or similar). thanks
I used white, grey and black primer, then flat black and drops of white for lightning... They are all vallejo acrylics.😉
the push rods are all free hand?
Marie BCFHS you mean in min 4:35?, all painted just with airbrush without masking , finally some dry brush, greetings
yes I mean those rods, very steady hand!
would you mind motorizing it or leave it as a display item?
Marie BCFHS just as display, moving parts are made pf very thin plastic, so it could break. Greetings
Very nice! I am building the BR 86,what is the metalic finish colour?
Hy!
Incredible well Build!^^
I am thinking about to build it also!^^
Lee78072 thanks, this is the first video i made, currently working on a mi 24 hind maquette.
greetings
Augusto Martinez Paredes Great! btw i got my BR 86 some Days ago! Really a good Kit! When i build it, it should look like one from the German DB.
Augusto Martinez Paredes Are there any things with the Kit that might be tricky?

+Augusto Martinez Paredes thanks.
Can it move?
Yes , it can, but the pieces are too weak, so they can break. I recommend to build this model just to showcase
can you make the wheels move??

Is this a tank engine?
What do you mean by tank engine, sorry my main language is spanish.
@@Backlgt a non-tender locomotive, with water tanks on board the locomotive, and never mind I just found out the BR86 was indeed a tank engine
Yes, the water tanks are the rectangular volumes located to the side of the boiler, greetings!!
@@Backlgt thank you for responding
