Pvmers probably don't know about the update where the staff can cut web now. It used to be only bladed weapons, but now it is anything with slash bonus.
@@TheFriskySquid At least in my personal experience being a pvmer, you are correct, I did not know about that until I read your comment. But I also keep my attack options for players to hidden in wilderness so it kind of forces an equal chance between me and a pker :p

@@TheImbored09 I mean it’s not their fault but who tf brings claws. They were obviously doing a clue and it’s 100% not necessary to bring any of that shit, not to mention, who in 2021 doesn’t have attack options set to hidden, especially as an IM. What conceivable scenario could anyone have (if they aren’t a pker) to not have attack options hidden. It sucks, but it was a stupid mistake and they paid the price. Hopefully someone else will learn from that mistake.
@@-Apollo-13 Yeah, it's not specifically these kills but skulltricking in general. If a new player were to die to that, that would turn him away from the game. It's much more likely for them to quit as well since there's so many other games to play without the time investment. I agree with you that they should have their options turned off, but there's probably a good chunk of the player base that doesn't know about it. And that's another thing, you say that it is a mistake, but they're not really doing anything wrong. They're just taken advantage of. I'm not gonna lie these vids are entertaining as hell, I just think it's kinda shitty.

But there are ways to easily avoid it, so I go back and forth. Still not a cool thing to do, but it’s definitely entertaining.

The wilderness is currently that way, and that's what many people say as their reasoning for why it's okay. However, that's not how it was designed. Skulling should be a conscious decision. No different than all the scamming taking place in the game. Manipulating people into losing items. We're not sensitive, we just have a moral compass you goof.
