I recently picked up The Bones Fall in a Spiral as I heard it's really good, haven't read it yet but it's on my TBR for this year. I've been leaning toward necromancy lately -- perhaps this could assist me with my anger toward death (my husband passed a few years ago), so, I thought instead of being so angry at death all the time, how about I take another look at it and necromancy being a starting point toward change and understanding. I'm in the process of making my own Road Opener oil. I finally got a hold of Road Opener (Abre Camino) leaves and it's hard to find - meaning businesses that'll ship it to Canada. 😊
I am so excited for your road opener oil! On necromancy, I agree it could assist you on your relationship with death. I am so, so sorry to hear about your husband's passing. I can only imagine how difficult that must be. It's something worth looking into for sure. Maybe it could open some lines of communication for you 🖤
Love the video! The little girl statue at first looks like she's representing water, but it's really air - her umbrella is closed and she's blowing in the wind :). So her air element ties in beautifully with your intellectual pursuits!

I do have a couple videos on deity work - there is one in particular called "How To Work With Deities in Witchcraft" that answers a lot of these questions! I probably won't make a specific video about belief systems because it really just depends on the person. Some people believe deities are external beings that live in an upper world, some believe they are psychological archetypes or pieces of your subconscious mind that you can tap into. There are many, many different beliefs around what deities are/aren't, and it would be impossible for me to make a video covering them all! But truly, whatever you believe is valid in your own reality.
There is a cool little book called Sister Karol's Book of Spells, Blessings & Folk Magic by Karol Jakowski that might resonate with you, and another called Italian Folk Magic by Mary Grace Farhun.
