I would love a little more clarification on "this was not written for us." I understand it was not written "to us" at the time, but as grafted in, aren't we also under the same laws, admonitions, standards, etc.? "For us" as well??

I have to go back and listen to that portion, but yes, it is beneficial for us. Not written to us, but is for us.
