I've seen Bob Clouser at several fly fishing shows. Onetime my friend and I arrived too early for a fly show in Massachusetts,s We decide to have a coffee. There was Bob Clouser. by himself. He waved us over we had an hour to chat with him. Wonderful human being.
Attended a fly tying class with Bob some 15+ years back. Bears Den Fly Shop. Taunton MA. Also got a personal autograph book of his. Can’t tell you how many hundreds of Clouser Minnows I’ve tied during my fishing career. I am 73. And yes, he IS one of the greats of our sport. One heck of a nice man. Thanks for sharing ...
Love the pond/canal hopping! I live on Merritt island and have a skiff, and I catch just as many fish on my electric scooter and on foot! Also, hope the family is doing well!
🌴. Hey Eric, 🤔Humm, ya it would definitely have been put in a frame ,even better yet if you could of gotten a signature to go with it , down the road that’s going to be a remembrance especially when your older , who knows it could be a pass me down to your little guy ,

That's awesome. Bob is a legend.
I luckily got to meet Bob Clouser, Lefty Kreh, and Jack Gartside. Had a dinner with lefty, what a life he lived!
Wow, legendary. Would have loved to meet Lefty. I learned how to tie flies from his fly tying kit they sell at Bass Pro.
@Eric.Estrada he was very dry and a no nonsense kinda guy. But he's forgotten more about fly fishing than most of us could ever hope to learn
A genuine Clouser Minnow, Tarpon and Snook. It just does not get any better.

I rarely use clousers these days, but I owe a lot of my early success to the clouser minnow. such a staple in the history of fly fishing.
Are you still in Miami or on the west coast
Would you mind sharing your set up? I’ve got a 5wt and I’m looking to upgrade to something a bit more hefty to throw streamers.
I actually made a video about this setup a while back, but the reel was lime green. I use a 5wt about 80% of the time.
@@Eric.Estrada sweet thanks i’ll go search 👍
