I wonder why you used the back part of the mallets. Were you imitating some effect in the original score of Paganini? Or it was just to give another material to the arreglo? Congrats for the interpretation! It looks very difficult to play!
Imitating the left hand pizzicato. Actually, it is not the back part of the mallet, it is a wooden dowel.
