Verse 1 Tears fall in the rain, Heart's echo in the pain. Lonely nights so cold Dreams shattered can't hold. Verse 2 Stars fade from the sky, Lost in your goodbye. Empty whispers cry, No reason to try. Chorus Broken Heart Silent scream Lost inside Haunted dream In the shadows where I hide Love's promise died.

TR-11 Exotic Traditional Chinese Wind Instruments: Xun, Suona, and Guan,
此曲我年輕聽到現在幾十年了
Piękny utwór , żeby stworzyć coś tak pięknego ,trzeba być po uszy zakochanym .
Bravo!!!!!!!!
I’ve been looking at how 3 and 4 mallet grips work, i generally know how all 3 grips for 2 mallet works and i’m best at steven and traditional I can also somewhat do the 3 mallet that adds a mallet beneath traditional although i also know there’s a 3 mallet extension for burton Does 4 mallet just combine one of those 3 mallets with stevens
the dead sound you’re getting from some of the notes is due to playing on the nodes of the keys, playing on the edge is fine but it must truly be the edge and other wise aim for the right above the resonator (or an inch above or below it) hitting on the string makes the marimba sound sad
Beautiful. I enjoyed the video. I'll be back!
This is beautiful. Nice graduation to full instrumentation. I came over from SC.
ow i am gonna do the snare drum in the concert and the whole team and you guys are the most coolest guy ever in the world
THIS is truly beautiful . Cinematic . B R A V O !!! MAESTRO!!!
...emotion, great music, great maestro Chung. Who is the singer?
So nice! Do you speak Italian too? It's a beautiful language too, I can understand it and speak it a bit too ;)
Suona is come from India in Hindi language we call it shahnai
Yes!
Sindhi people they have a musical instrument like xun in Sindhi language they call it borindo
好琴
Man it seems like legit everyone can do 6 mallet grip but not even our keyboard technician for drumline can do it.
They can do 6-mallet grip, but they can’t strike each mallet independently.

Thank you my ape am mark +6
HOW??!!
速度有点慢,死板,缺少激情
That’s really sloppy, you gotta work on that stuff slower if you want it to sound cool.
Hello, Charles! This is exactly what I am going to do in the first half of 2025. In addition, after June 2024, I will post a MV of my new 6-mallet solo piece Artificial Love in UA-cam and I will make a short explanation of some mallet independence technique at the beginning of the MV. Please keep in touch! Please note that my multi-mallet technique works better on the Stevens Grip.
Can you please make a long form video explaining your 6 and 8 mallet technique?
Can you please make a longer video explaining your 6 and 8 mallet technique?
🎉
You need to make a tutorial for specifically independence for 3 mallet or 4 mallet
I can do 2 in each hand, but I can't do 3 or 4 and not many tutorials on youtube for 3 or 4 mallets.
Yes, it is difficult to find tutorials online. I initiated this multi-mallet independence technique last year. Hopefully, next year I will have time to write a detailed method book.
特别大提琴太多、此乐宜清音
吾系好得
ALL THOSE MALLETS GEEZ how much did it cost??
Merry Christmas for you as well.. Great performance, still inspiring in January 2024.
Spectacular piece!
Beautiful and answered a lot of my questions. Thank you. Very nice video.
Look @hichloesvlog , he uses 6 mallets
I like the multi purcussion And yes it's sounds quite different than the music from where I live
how do gou even di independent strokes with 4 💀💀
Master 3-mallet independence first. I initiated this multi-mallet independence technique last year. Hopefully, next year I will have time to write a detailed method book.
@@YiukwongChung oh please do, i'd get that in a heartbeat lmao
@@Ohokk0 This year just watch all my UA-cam shorts. I have demonstrated many possibilities of using 3 mallets in one hand to play scales and arpeggios
3:09
I can’t find anything online for 6 mallet technique, how do you manage that?
no joke, just put it wherever it's most comfortable and spend a ton of hours forcing your hands to make it move the way you want. there aren't many established 6 mallet techniques, so unless you're in a drum corps and have a coordinator/tech teaching you a specific grip this is honestly the best way to do it.
Google Kai Stensgaard. He makes a detailed UA-cam movie about his six-mallet grip.
@@YiukwongChung Robert Paterson also has a good in-depth article about his grip on his website
@@Ohokk0 Yes, Mr. Paterson is a fantastic player. But do you notice that my 6-mallet grip is different from his grip? My grip is developed from Stevens's grip, like Kai Stensgaard's approach.
I’ve seen 3 different grips now but the way i learned was one of the seniors in my studio taught me it to me and a few other freshman and i ended up having to actually perform it 2 months later but just for the burton and traditional variations you just put the 3rd mallet inbetween the other 2 in the space where the inner mallets are and on the bottom
Not cringe
Bravissimo!
Cringe 💀
Nope
How? And if you don’t like the content all you are doing is helping him by commenting
Have you looked at your profile pic? No one thinks you’re cool. You’re just an edgy 14 year old going through an emo phase because Saskue is literally you right?
Yes! Let us push the limit a little bit farther!
I think these techniques give me permission to write harder pieces for the mallet players I’m writing for!
A pleasure to be the first to comment on this wonderful vibrant piece from Chung who is a fine composer to follow.
Thank you!
whats that black thing on the sticks? tape?
Yes. Anti-slip tape.
Nada anormal para mim 😅
眼瞓變咗唔眼瞓。感謝主。
Shots fired at all the click bait.
hes saying basically "2, 4, 6, 8" bc total
It does say independence
clearly you don’t play mallets lol
Gut
I hope my other UA-cam shorts can inspire you to do more pianistic marimba practice such as parallel octave scales or one-handed arpeggio.
Pianistic marimba technique is so challenging! That run I can play with one handed octaves but not like that
Bravo! Very perfect and fast! 🎉🎉
Now do 20
