How was your research? Damn, something I watched that was star wars but wasn't. Had Ewoks in it, hadn't it? Let's google Ewoks + Movie. Ah there it is. Can't believe it took you any longer.
i grew up watching this movie. tried to watch it on disney plus now that im older.. if it werent for the older brother, the movie would honestly be fine.. but he is SO obnoxious and honestly stupid. The entire time hes whining and fighting with the ewoks that have saved his life countless times thinking hes the smart responsible one, yet hes the one getting them in trouble most of the time.
Still love this movie to this day and have learned the Ewok’s language and use it on my cats. 😂 Yeha means goodbye and possibly good luck on your journey. Lurdo means dumbass or jerk. Tyatee means come on or let’s go. Gunda means good. Chak means medicine. Feech means f$&k. Kush means fur. Beecha is a term of affection or what you say to someone to calm them down and relax them so they are not afraid. Yubnub is a celebratory expression like right on. Asha means don’t worry or it’s okay.
What’s the “medicine woman” Ewok's name, Shodu? Shonu? She might be Wicket’s mother... What does she say when she’s rubbing her belly, trying to get Cindel to take the herbal medicine, to feel better? “Asha, asha…”..?
it makes me wonder.. how much could one improve these movies just through editing, changing phasing of events and scenes, adding different sounds and music, etc. this trailer nearly inspired me to try my hand at "reforging" these movies. but i am too unexperienced with editing, and that sounds like too much dedication just to make a improved version of fringe star wars media that most people haven't even heard about
The dialogue is basic, but remember it was made for tv. In the eighties. Not even a movie theater release. So tv movies have a sort of… Lifetime channel vibe sometimes, with the script… personally I’d love to see the film reimagined with todays technology. Don’t deviate from the storyline, but edit the script and special effects, I think Ewoks could still draw audiences.
for a long time I thought I dreamed this movie or something cause I didnt know the name and all I could remember is there was ewoks, other ppl I asked were like wtf ?_? ... I loved this movie!! lol
This was really well done, congrats bro, I love this movies, this trailer is simply amazing! You only can do a trailer like this one, when it comes from the heart! Good job man!
It was the very first movie that a saw in Cinema in my life as a kid, I think it was 1985? At the time it was amazing ! A spin off of the Star Wars franchise brought by the same studio who made "Care Bears" a remember teenager's girls going to the cinema with bras with puff shoulders and heavy "new wave" make up, it was so 1980's!
Maybe I was, I dunno, A KID when I first got into the original trilogy and then the prequels came out. I unironically LIKE the “kid” stuff. The Ewoks and even the gungans! Jar Jar can be a bit much, but the non human species are some of my favorite parts of Star Wars!
Reminds me of seeing Mike drowning in the Alabama pool off the gulf of Mexico we hide what happened his first words when I got him out please don't tell mom and dad - he deliberately took his belt off and jumped in a white and black belt I think was from the ymca we had swimming lessons at north Lagrange rd
I love the movie. As a kid it was my favorite. It’s more epic and interesting than some of todays current SW stuff. With minimal dialogue, and long stares and intense showdowns… sure the effects today are better, but in the 80s, studios had to make do with lower budgets and less special effects. They did a lot and this film was quite popular at the time. It’s the most in-depth look at Endor, and all its creatures and inhabitants, besides Return of the Jedi… and I’m not counting the Ewok animations. Lol. With the crying mountain and flower children and stuff.
I recall when this was released around Thanksgiving in 1984 on ABC. It was that strange time, a year after Return of The Jedi, when Star Wars fans desperately wanted to see anything SW related. Not really exciting, but welcome nonetheless. It Also seems odd that it isn't canon considering that George Lucas created the story himself. Looking back on it now, 38 years later, is definitely a trip down nostalgia boulevard. It had a certain 80s charm. I also find it curious that the boy in the movie is named Mace, and then years later George uses the name again for Mace Windu.
It seems weird that it isn’t considered canon since it doesn’t necessarily conflict with anything else, it’s just a Little adventure story involving Ewoks.
Please make a modern Trailer of „Battle for Endor“.
ua-cam.com/video/subc1z92M1k/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Flitsmaal something like this?
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down? It’s brilliant.
When the ewok said "Furries"? I about lost my shit!
This movie was so good.. Watched it back in the 80's. Still looks amazing to do this day.
I loved this as a kid, and knew the name. I can’t believe I found it.
How was your research?

That family's starship must be the Star Wars galaxy's version of a station wagon.
No kidding, this is better than the RoS trailer xD This is more wholesome.
They somehow made this movie look watchable. Great job 👍
How dare you!

This movie and its sequel has been moved to Star Wars Legends why can’t they do the same for the sequel Trilogy?
Hopefully one day soon. :)
Cause the sequels are shite
Fantastic! This is really... really beautiful. 🙂 From now on, everyone will love the Ewoks. 🧸
Hands down the greatest Star Wars movie EVER!!!!!
for a long time I thought I dreamed this movie or something cause I didnt know the name and all I could remember is there was ewoks, other ppl I asked were like wtf ?_? ... I loved this movie!! lol

I have always wanted to cuddle the Ewoks and hold their baby. They are so cute!
Much much better than the original trailer.
Nice job. I was born the year Caravan of Courage was released.
Thank you. I’m gonna go watch this now
Literally BETTER than the Last Jedi.
Still a better SW movie than Episode 8
Best Caravan trailer!
Finish the trilogy. We need Battle for Endor.
I wonder if they were represented in the new galactic republic senate .
They probably had to share a seat with the duloks, so they were always quarreling. No wonder Palpatine was able to take over.
Who doesn't like this movie, forreal
better than disney star wars
Better than all the modern Star Wars garbage

I remember a movie like this a long time ago I hardly remember it.
Very well done! Excellent use of the music and you found perfect moments and soundbytes. Great work!
"I wish we had furry creature like you where I came from."
Well down on earth, we have bears, koalas and binturongs.
Maybe I was, I dunno, A KID when I first got into the original trilogy and then the prequels came out. I unironically LIKE the “kid” stuff. The Ewoks and even the gungans! Jar Jar can be a bit much, but the non human species are some of my favorite parts of Star Wars!
That version of the SW theme is epic af.
I wonder if they'll ever consider doing a remake of the old animated series.
Some movies shouldnt be touched
Nice!!!

I have to make a confession: Ewoks's teeth are similar to my late grandmother's false teeth! Kkkkk
The two forgotten star wars films.
Trailers can make any movie awesome
Whan an adventure... An Ewok Adventu-WHAT!!??
Saw a post on reddit about this shit looks more enjoyable than the sequels
This is awesome! The OM approves!

In some cases, practical effects from older movies can better than cgi in newer movies.
My brother and I used to watch these on tv all the time when we were little
YES!
I want to watch them all these look awesome!
This movie and The Neverending Story are the ones of my life!
