My daughter & I were walking over the past Summer & there was a guy ahead of us & then he hid in the bushes. She is 20 & usually walks alone with her Great Dane. He followed us almost all of the way home. I told her to never ever walk alone again. She won’t now. This seems to happen to a lot of young women. It’s a scary world out there. Even in rural America where we live.
I never gave safety a second thought on walks in my neighborhood but recently felt like I had to run for my life (with my baby in my stroller). Some man pulled up in a car on a somewhat secluded stretch of road and opened the window trying to get my attention. I turned around and ran faster that I ever did in my life until I reached the driveway of a house and the man turned around and sped away. Could have been nothing but I wasn’t gonna find out why that man was trying to stop me.
Sadly we can not go it alone, and even if with a big burly man going along there's still no telling what'd happen at anytime. Please, be safe and aware like yall were. Always.
She's not crying for those babies. Last night when talking about the case with my mom, I was shocked to learn that the boys were found holding hands in the back seat trying to comfort each other as the car was sinking in the lake. I hope they mention that next time in 2026 to the jury.
The tragedy of Laken Riley is so tragic . Prayers to the victim and family. Absolutely heart breaking speeches from the parents. Her father speech about what could been her future husband is so well written and very memorable. Laken was such a good amazing person. When you are good and innocent your mind never goes to a dark place like a evil predator lurking around

Yes, a database is needed and would be incredibly helpful I'm sure! This is incredible! That thing could be tried in Federal Court and given the death penalty! Much needed imo since the original prosecutor in the State case had no interest in pursuing it. My guess is that that creep had no problem with the prospect of three squares a day. Would love to see that privilege taken away forever. RIP sweet Laken. You will never be forgotten.
I wish america wouldnt pretend that this is a immigrant gang issue. There is an abundant supply of evil cruel american monsters lurking in your country!! The amount is terrifying...and since 5th Nov. women need to see how serious this really is!!

Life with a possibility of parole shouldn’t exist. If you are sentenced to life and no appeal works you should never get out
