It was also assault & battery by the security guard and the boyfriend. The female rapper committed an assault too. And the guy who touched that female rapper's behind committed a sexual assault. They better hope the police don't see this video or someone is going to jail.

Security should have asked him to leave. If the artist wants to press charges for sexual assault then security should detain him and call the Police. If you are going to handle this like you are on the streets. Expect the streets to bite back! How many people, when disrespected, return with a gun?? 🤔

What? No blues in your repertoire? Man, your missing out. I know, I know to each it’s own. I love jazz, blues, and classic rock and Jimmy Hendrix, I love his writing. . The only rap I listen to is Tom MacDonald and that is only as of late. I’d go and see him in concert if he was ever near by.
My all time favorite female jazz singer is Ella Fitzgerald, and my favorite song of hers is ‘Lady is a Tramp’. Dang good song, love the lyrics. Satchmo and his trumpet, Duke Ellington and his Big Band and so many more.
You know how you can see a specific person in your mind, but cannot remember their name? I’m going through that right now. I also have a great excuse too. I literally have a hole in my head. I’m serious! I had 21 lesions deep in my brain (cancer, stage 4), and I got them all zapped and taken out through a procedure called the Gamma Knife. It’s pretty cool. Anyhoo! It got a piece of where our memory works. It’s a right bugger when you cannot remember names of people, a huge amount of words in my own library, poof! Gone! Miles Davis! That’s who I couldn’t remember until I completed the last word, ‘poof!’ I love listening to his trumpet. And my favorites with the sax I simply cannot remember their names. I’m sure I will this evening when their names will suddenly be remembered.
      Be well, and stay smiling!

1- A slap on the ass is not sexual assault, it is a simple assault 2- a police officer present can and would arrest the security guard for aggravated assault. 3- The security should have secured him and either walk him out or hold him for police charges. 4-Turning it into a gang brawl leaves the promoter of the event open to a serious law suit. 5- The performer is not entitled to revenge strikes, the assaulter was taken care of and no longer a threat when she started kicking him, I'd sue her too. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I agree. Keep everything solid at a baseline. Can't pick and choose when to turn up. As soon as dude's hand went up, security should've been stepping forward. Somebody on stage made contact way before PAID security. If you're going to make him leave, subdue and escort. Don't fight, jump him, let him separate, let him grab a chair and then re-engage. I'd rather the artist not hire me again because I was being "too extra" rather than my reputation as a professional being affected.

    It’s simple…
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Something my Dad would say to us kids.
    I agree with you Brandon.
A lawsuit could easily be taken against the girl and her security. Proper security would never ever grab someone by their neck and it being their first action against the culprit.
And hey, it don’t matter what the hell she was wearing, keep your hands to yourself! And the ‘keep your hands to yourself.’. is another fine gem from our Dad when we were kids. I can’t help but wonder how many involved grew up without a father figure in the home. Or without a good Mom teaching them right from wrong. A fine example of the latter is one in your group of four. I’m terrible with names, but I think his name starts with “S”. The tallest one in your group. He has a hell of a Mom who did her best to do right by him. Anyhoo! A lot of great lessons we learned when we were kids. So yeah, this should NOT have happened. From the idiot taking liberty in slapping her bum, to the grab on his neck, to the girl getting into it herself and yada yada, as I’m sure you all get the point.

He was wrong, but they behaved outside the law. They weren't stopping him from assaulting her, they were reacting to it after the assault had ended. That his how the law will see it. Security was doing a poor job because common sense says her behavior has they potential to bring out people with his mindset. Security should have been preventative more than reactive, and their reaction should have benefited their client. She was not, and is not protected, she is exposed to possible legal consequences.

Look at what happened to the guy that jumped on stage at a Dave Chappelle show and tried to assault him.

Kid should NOT have put his hands on a female uninvited
BUT it’s situations like this that being overly emotional and aggressive can land someone in jail for 5 years..

I would never put my man in that situation. Let security handle it.

I give little cuzz the booty assailant credit. He pulled up off the floor and started defending himself. Not taking away fact sexual assault but little dude has heart.

Security guards usually do too much. But, if you're doing goofy ish don't be surprised with the reaction to your goofiness.

That security guard is gettin' sued. Hell, they're ALL gettin' sued. I agree with you that the boyfriend was confronting the "slapper" guy and could have had him removed without escalating the situation. And the way they went after him when he was on the floor (including the performer!) was "overkill". Yup, he's getting money!!!

He should have been asked to leave and if it escalted after that, that would be on him.
