old timer shouldn't have turned. bald "hard man" shouldn't have came out the car. Expect people to pull out. Don't be a prick about it, just vigilant is enough.
That old dude in the Citroën very nearly caused a massive crash. The Audi driver was hard on the brakes!
The car turning in should have waited. Road rager should have just dealt with it and not got out to prove how hard he was.
But he was driving a black Audi so it was quite predictable!
Obviously, the car turning in pulled right in front of the straight on vehicle and could have caused a serious accident. Stopping and getting out to shout at him was also danerous and doesnt help but I imagine his adrenaline was through the roof at that point.
"The simulation's gone a bit quirky" is my new favourite thing ever.
Because it was hacked into by naughty critters.
love the random childish moments like going on the slip road and saying yay!
Spicy!! You need to know that for years now I’ve been watching and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without your videos. They have influenced my riding career and even gave me motivation to work in the industry as a mechanic for over a year now.. keep on being you and keep the shiny side up!! You crazy nutter! 😂
I really appreciate that thanks! 😁
Old geezer didn't realise until it was late the junction was blocked. Bald geezer needs to wind his neck in instead of trying to look hard.
Citroen driver shouldn’t have turned, Audi driver has sudden hit of adrenaline which results in the rage. To be honest, whilst most people are admonishing the Audi driver for his reaction, it’ll have hopefully had the desired effect on the Citroen driver who’ll be more aware / cautious in future; if the Citroen driver can’t spot an Audi moving towards him - you’d have no chance on a bike!
So I live in Plymouth.... And then I saw you park in the car park and thought.... Portsmouth.... Great view.... Burger van.... Visited there about 15 years ago amd went to the same place. Awesome! Beautiful view.
As for why manufacturers are working on automated gearboxes right now: I'm a truck driver, and these types of gearboxes have been standard on trucks for about 10 years now. Rather than a fully automatic gearbox like cars have, or a CVT as found on a scooter, they're an automated constant-mesh gearbox that can be operated manually but defaults to an automatic mode (hence the name, automated manual transmission or AMT). Trucks until the 1980s mostly had constant-mesh gearboxes where you had to get the revs right when you change gear; you started to see synchro boxes on trucks in the 1980s but the old type persisted on British and American makes into the 2000s (the British brands in question have all now disappeared through acquisition; you still find them on US trucks). After a few years they started to fall out of favour and be replaced by the automated type. The new style gearbox has been around for a few years and a lot of the problems that affected the early ones have been ironed out. Manual bike gearboxes are also constant not synchro mesh, so an automated CM box might seem a perfect fit for a bigger bike. They are also nowadays the more economical option. I drive trucks with AMTs all the time and they're usually pretty smooth.
prefer these random ride videos lol and enjoying the content 👍👍
Came up in my feed. You are a funny guy. N-sync and 90's boi bands got me rolling Xx
You are so right about suspension and potholes! I’m 63 lol and my Super Meteor is very hard on my back on the patchwork roads we have here in Scotland…my other problem is that at 5’5” most adventure or off road bikes are just too tall. And up here the majority of riders are definitely in the ‘old’ category! Be it money, disposable income, purchase costs, running costs and simply having the time to ride (not working 3 jobs to survive). Hard to see how things can be improved tbh
As for the tool in the Audi, being centre of the universe must be a burden
Typical Audi driver vs typical OAP driver tbh
Only reason I'm waiting so long to do my a2 is because its too expensive
Just got back from a long ride around mid and west Wales on my Fireblade, and although I had fun, sooooo much of the route was terrible road surface or 30-50mph limits. I hardly got above 2nd gear!!
So for my riding, a super motard would make a lot more sense.
Do we get Spicy shouting Boybands now instead of cheeses?
Beastieee Bóóóýsssss....
New Kids on the Block is a bit of a long one, compared to Gouda or Brie 🤣
11:15 Should not move out early. If lights change, you're in no-man's land, easier to move back in on a bike, but difficult in a car. Stay in until you get to the 'commit' point. Can be a good feeling when you stop gently as the lights change, leaving others to pass you and go through on red.
My summary is, 1 poorly positioned motorcycle seemingly hampering those trying to enter, an old boy misjudging the gap in traffic and an utter bell end in an Audi who can't read a situation happening in front of him😂
Well done, you won the medal for somehow trying to blame the bike. I have been waiting for it.
@@spicy110I blame this all on Brexit, even the shite weather…..
@@karlhoward2737 😂😂
So much green on some of those roads.
Like the bridge, it just looks foresty forest.
Jealous xD
Grandpa did went a bit late yeah, but not worth the trouble of getting out of the car for xD
Audiman…. hard as nails. Needs to prove it at every opportunity.
The sad fact is he can’t deal with irregular situations without losing it.
I think the citreon was in the wrong
That pothole gets bigger every day. Your bike handled it well :-D.
Honestly, motorbiking is expensive. I passed my a2 last year, I went and brought an xj6-n. It’s not buying or riding the bike that is the problem, it’s the insurance that was the killer for me. I was nearly triple my car insurance. Then I had to sell it due to financial issues. For reference I have just turned 20, been driving for 2 years. Had a 125 at 17 and loved it and my insurance wasn’t too bad on that, I think that it was because it was Chinese. There are loads of young people who would love to own motorbikes, but it’s the insurance costs. I would love to own a motorbike again, and can’t wait for the day that I get another one.
An angry aggresive Audi driver?? 🤔Who would have thought it 🤷♂
Dude you should come to the Calne bike meet. Biggest free bike meet in Europe!
DG09CVR Typical Audi driver, always in a mad rush to get nowhere. 🙄.
Should spend a bit more time fixing his Oil leaks from his Engine and get some new tyre's and suspension for his next MOT due in less than a month 😂😂😂
Audi driver who has never made a mistake in his life and someone who started a turn and then panicked when the car in front stopped. Audi man then stops in the middle of a main road and fails to be hit by a lorry 😂
I want a supermoto, they need more options in the marlet though. Theres only like 4 variants. Husqy 701, ktm 690, drz400 (only up to 2008), and ducati hypermotard. Which are all very expensive. Beyond that all i see is dirt bike conversions
As for the the moving across to the right after the lights change, I do it in the car but I realise that it might look to to the vehicle in front that that you are trying to overtake or be aggressive. I also drive a Smart car and it's very common to have a following vehicle right up your Jacksie because they think that, because you are small, you are in the way and slow. Not so! I enjoy leaving these people in my dust when the speed limit changes. And, yes, I am a biker with a Trident 660, thank you.
jesus didnt know drama could be like that at portsdown hill
That bottle you kick out of the road could even turn out to be a bottle of piss some wagon driver has thrown out. Not so lovely gift for you there.
My old stomping ground. Play up pompey!
Audio coming down the road was doing more than 40 mph so that's why the Peugeot driver turned across him,, sort of 50/50 really
Two things putting me off getting a bike - safe place to store it and insurance is laughably expensive
Yes, and if you don't have anywhere to store it, that makes the insurance a lot more! It's a double loss, sadly.
Gotta agree with your take on long suspension travel, I've just switched from a BMW R1200GSA to a new Goldwing Tour and suddenly the roads are shite! I've had to shell out for better shocks on the wing to deal with it but I'm really missing that GSA suspension... I guess all the money for road maintenance was swallowed by 2008 crash, Covid pandemic & now supporting fascism in Ukraine... always something more important than the roads.
Pulled right out in front of him. Must of been a officer off duty who shouted.
Is Halying Island bike night still a thing? I thought I'd ask as you're so close!
Yep every Thursday in the riding season.
@@spicy110 Thanks! I’ll bring my RD over next week.
Hey Spicy which should I get as a first bike: r3, cbr500r or ninja400?
neither mt07 :)
@@Syst3m__gl1tch dont like naked bikes
Cbr500 can't go wrong with a honda, looks nice as well.
Which ever one you feel suits you, try both, see what works for you. It's a question only you can answer.
@@funkycowie that’s the best answer . I’m only saying mt due to that brap noise but there’s just as nice bikes . All down to rider preference.
Should go to route 66 burger van on Sunday we all meet up there for bacon role
Paying £2500 a year for insurance on my Honda NC700X, even with 4 years of no claims, storing it in a garage, and having it tracked. It's my first year on a 'big' bike, lol. Also, they wanted the same price for me to ride my Honda PCX. At this rate, I could have insured a car! But hey, bike life. I'm 24, by the way.
Yer that sounds very high, who are you with?

Love micks
The cost of a licence is disgusting.
It's way less than a car so no?
Adventure bikes... OK I brought one.
Mostly it was about the size, the leg position, the ability to stand up and see ahead so easily. but it was the combination of comfort, versatility and being not far behind its sporty siblings with the exact same powerplant in terms of performance, and despite the handling being a little slower due to the greater travel. the only drawback is... actually it's the width, and how the extra length out the end of the bars to hold the handguards eats into the room you need to filter easily... and that's it! (and maybe the amount of grip that ADV front tyres have in the wet, this is NOT where they shine, but that can be easily changed)
It's not the old guys that need automatics... The Men are still MEN... it's the young BOYS that need the Autos because they simply can't do a Damn thing for themselves!
Ok the guy with the big grin on his face stopped and held up the car behind who would have had plenty of room if the first car didn't stop in the middle of the road, and the guy who got out and yelled need to see his doctor and get some Paroxetine!
Nah, Filter and reduce congestion, there's no need to add to the congestion, that just makes the traffic worse for everybody!
In Sink? what do you want put in the sink? How about Matchbox 20, that'll confuse people!
anger management -chant aum namo narayanaya 108 times
Just paid 640 a year for insurence on my 125. My next bike I was quoted 7340. This is whats putting me off. I'm 24.
That second quote is an error.
@spicy110 I called them to confirm. It was not an error. Actually really sucks. Down for insurence suggestions xD
@@XaxiMusicNC Then they do not want to insure you, I can tell you 100% that is not what it will cost you. What bike are you tring to insure?
@@spicy110 cbr650r
@@XaxiMusicNC Yer that's not right at all, I have had several people come to me recently with the same sort of question and quote amount. I would contact one of the dedicated motorcycle insurers call them and go though the full quote. if they come back with a number like that ask them why.
I can see you paying up to about 2kish but not that.
Nobody going to talk about the car in front of the old guy that was staring at Spicy? he blocked the old guy from continuing from my POV anyways
Nothing illegal about filtering.
The old boy was in the wrong, but the Audi driver shouldn't have stopped.
It seems in the U.K. that the average age of leisure bikers is around 70 now?
Bit lower than that but I do think its over 50.
So Audi driver was angry that the old man caused him to stop, so his response is to block the road and do the same thing to everyone else, but worse? 🤪
More of an NM8 man myself.
There’s no help for some people. They hate their lives and are ready to empty their frustration on anyone in their path. Just ignore them and don’t give it any energy. I guess the guy shouldn’t have turned in but so bloody what, angry guy had to slow down a bit, boo hoo
Car shouldn't have turned but I think Audi was going too quick and with junction blocked, the one turning right didn't expect to struggle to turn in. Both at fault really
The guy turning did kind of cut the Audi up, but I don't think the Audi driver needed to be a dick about it.
just discoveredhe had feet 😂😂
Fiz um vídeo do Zorlak rage
Most have described the incident correctly.. both idiots tbh.
The roads look familiar, my parents and siblings live in Port Solent, Stokes Bay.. I was also a police officer working further up the A3, Petersfield, Bordon and up to Hindhead Surrey border
Ride safe mate 🤙🏽
Bye bye bye 😂
Never get out of your car to shout abuse the other guy might take offence and you end up with a broken nose or worse.
Black car ?
Peugeot should of waited
East-17! LUL
Now the guy in my opinion over reacted…..however the older bloke should have not turned right as the road was still blocked, he should have waited….a question of stupid and stupider…..
Being forced to wear an uncomfortable shirt and tie to work in the modern day and age is enough to make anyone angry. No excuse, though... he needs to read the Chimp Paradox. The driver that pulled in front of him may be a bit old to be driving.
Bald life crisis
Cyclists fault 100%
This was one long whinge-fest. Then at the end you say you "really enjoyed this ride".
Could've fooled me.
