You Tube live & the standard of domestic football in Jamaica is about the same as our
Non- League ( junior football as we say in Scotland ).
My point is if your
national team is to improve your top domestic league, which must improve massively. First of all, it needs more investment if you can't see top-class
footballers locally, how can you ever hope to become one.
I would say now a day's to a lesser degree, we have the same problem here in Scotland.

I still don't understand why he demands to have a hotel room for himself. On the biggest nat'l teams, players have roommates. I doubt he can make such demands of Emery for Villa's away trips.
@@user-mv7kh5sv9z Yes he does have personal grievances and he’s shared them multiple times. Many people think he did this interview because he feels he’s bigger than the team but that’s not true. After contending with the JFF so much I think this was just the final straw, he didn’t like how the suspension was handled. He didn’t say he didn’t deserve to be suspended and kudos to him for admitting he broke curfew. He’s got to do better there.
Regarding the hotel room, apparently one of team mates was on the phone till 4am. That would upset any players trying to sleep. I guess he didn’t want to say that in the Jai interview and make his team mates look bad. At this point he does need to be away from the team, too much acrimony going on with him and JFF. Hopefully he can come back refreshed.
Everything is said is also the sentiment for players in other Carribean islands. I'm from Haiti so I'll spare you with some details but what stroke a cord with me is when he spoke about the lack of monetary contributions from the Federation. There are so much talents in the islands. We must do better😫

Messi and Ronlado have played more games than him and have been doing it longer than he has and for some reason I have never heard them complaining about playing too much. Come to think of it, they complain when they are on the bench or wasnt called for games so what you are saying makes absolutely no sense about players getting injured since Aston Villa isnt playing the amount of games the bigger clubs are playing and jamaica isnt playing anywhere near the amount of games Argentina or Portogal plays .
If his reason is that he is above their level and need to be treated as such and not some local boy, that is one thing but for you to make a claim that makes NO SENSE, that is gossip or you creating your own facts.

Aston Villa have actually played 43 Games since the start of this season. A "bigger team" such as Manchester City have played 45 if you include the community shield and Super Cup. So that is a difference of 2 games....

He got suspended for the current tournament and decided to one up the jff and the jamaican coach. Its clear after his interview that the coach didn't want him to divide the locker room base on his statements. Timing of his grievances while the team is in a tournament without him is vindictive. Every jamaican cheers for him as long as he's not playing against their epl teams. I cheer for him and his team and I'm a Arsenal fan. Our Football FA has been corrupted with unprofessionalism and corruption for decades now
Even when we were good in Asia in the 50's and 60's
Would have loved to hear these comments coming from the coach of the Jamaican team instead of Bailey. The current coach from Iceland is a no nonsense type of guy, been that way since the first day he arrived.I believe he would have been quite vocal about it if things were as bad as Bailey says. I know things can be much better with the program and that the JFF has not done a good job of improving its management of football in Jamaica but a player can't expect a federation who's not on the level of earning and development as Germany, France, England, or the other big teams to be as organized, or be able to afford everything these countries or even major clubs can do.

Actually FIFA does provide quite a bit of funding to FAs in member countries that need it. As well as funding for attendance of specific tournaments when qualified. Not in the same ballpark as the rich countries of course, but enough to ensure national teams have the basics.
