Wow I didn’t realise how unnecessarily early I killed lady butterfly. She was the first main boss I killed and was an excellent trainer. I learned my trusty reliable hit twice then spam deflect strategy on her which supported me throughout the whole game.
Honestly I'd advise to fight her after the Gyoubu fight since she's pretty squishy after you get that attack buff. Going straight to Genichiro after Gyoubu is like climbing a mountain.
I fought Lady Butterfly my first playthrough before getting to Gyoubu because I'm dumb and thought I was supposed to do the Hirata sequence right after getting the bell. I was WAY underprepared, but it was ever-so-satisfying to shove a sword through that old hag's back
@@satrioutomo436 Interestingly enough the grind for the height of skill trophy is far less irritating and grindy if you earn all the endings properly by playing through 4 times as by the time I got to the end of my 4th playthrough I only had to grind for 30 minutes for the last skills, which made it less tedious. The game is enjoyable enough that I truly believe if you wanna go for platinum play the game 4 times. The sculpture did not make the prosthetic arm, the character known as Dogen crafted it for the sculpture long ago, then he found Wolf and gave to him his arm.
Technically u don’t have to parry, I personally did the entire game when I got the plat in it but I heard some people online use the run and hit Strategy which takes way longer than parrying but keeps u safe
actually the 2nd fight against the owl is the easier version of him. in lore this fight happens before the fight at the castle and you can see the owl took some lessons from his last defeat... smoke bombs that locks the estus, poison spam at the 2nd phase etc.

It took me almost 2 years to even get through the game because I just couldn't get into the flow of combat, but with perseverance ad willpower it worked out in the end.
