I think there's sometimes an expectation that for something to be visually interesting, the method has to be complex. Depending on the specific method it can be, it's true, but it doesn't always have to be!
Wow! I just purchased these guys yesterday, and thought to myself “Man, wouldn’t outcasts be sick” only to find this video! Great vid man, appreciate it!
Looks great! *And* you voiced the tagline at the end - who could ask for anything more! Since I'm both easily distracted *and* influenced, I may need to pop over to the Modiphius store. 😛
I just saw the show, and it was REALLY OK, this plastic mini seems really cool, and the black scheme add to it more character. I hope that with show's success, there will be more similar minis.👍 P.s. I hope that your character make up for that little "problem" on the front armor!😝
Oof, you just missed the humble bundle of STLs and PDFs. That’s what kick started me buying up a printer and got me to watch how to vids I much felt like you. I have the fantasy flight game. But this looks like a solid game night. “Misfit Hobbies” has a decent where to start guide. Having a printer makes it easier to approach but those models are pricy. Can find some good unofficial ones in usual places.
I actually stand corrected I believe the Humble Bundle is still up. Search "Wasteland Warefare" over there and $18 later you have what would cost $200 directly from Modiphus.
How perfect! I just got some of these printed for my Fallout 2d20 session as well thanks to the credited creator present in your previous Power Armor “How I Paint Things.” If I may ask, where can I find some weapon STL recommendations? The ones I have found have either low poly counts or are seemingly unprintable.
I wish I could help! Unfortunately, I haven't really gone looking for Fallout STLs in *years* at this point; a couple of the better creators on Thingiverse seem to have disappeared, so I'd probably try Cults3D.
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio No worries. I love your content and have begun to binge it like how I binged the Fallout Show. Both are amazing. Thanks for the reply and these videos.
I'm always impressed by how approachable and yet simultaneously rigorous your videos are.

Glad I could help! My spies are eeeverywhere... 😂
This is a really great tutorial on weathering black armor. I especially like the way the red is worn away and the chipping. Thanks for sharing this.
How I paint things never changes .

Glad too see that the new plastics look so good, more Fallout please!
Just bought two box’s of these guys and have been looking for days for a good paint video on them thank you!!
Looks fantastic ❤ - also painted some outcasts, did take a completely different route with a similar result 😂
Cool! I'm really happy you are making more Fallout tutorials.
Looks great! I really like the Outcast Brotherhood scheme too.
Would be awesome if you did some enclave PA. I'm always a huge fan of your guides

Is it weird i was literally looking at these guys on the wiki last night too wake up too this?
It just means my spies are in place and reporting on time!
Yes! I love the BOS. Do you plan on doing anymore fallout stuff?
I've done a few other bits of Fallout stuff already! ✌
Wait. Theres a fallout miniature game, and I'm JUST NOW hearing about it? I weep for whats about to happen to my wallet...

Glorious 👊🏻
I am always surprised how "black" grey colours come out looking on miniatures
