Idk if people caught this but I thought I’d just share. In season 1 when Clarke was falling Finn didn’t hesitate to catch her-full knowing she had the virus that could’ve transferred to him, he did this because he loved her but then in season 4 Murphy didn’t hesitate to save Raven from the drones, they both could’ve died but he did it anyways.
and after that, raven tells finn that he doesn't love her ❝the way i want to be loved,❞ so i'm just going to say it: murphy loves raven the way that raven wants and needs to be loved!

Yeahhhh, I love Murven since the beginning... that’s just because I always have unpopular opinions SMH! They’re endgame in my opinion
there is so many parallels in there storys throughout the series that I think it would only feel justified if they ended up together in the end.
lmao, i've loved them since the beginning as well! partially because i was hoping for some sort of redemption arc/enemies to lovers cliche. also, because if someone says they hate something, my O.D.D. suddenly decides that i love something. love that, lmao.
but, seriously, i know what you mean! i always end up shipping the most underrated and/or over-hated pairing (so long as they're morally correct-- or really so long that they're not like incestuous, lmao). i also do the same thing with characters? and i often find myself hating the characters that everyone else loves.

Murphy is the most believable and enjoyable character on this show. If he dies I will throw a fit. We do not need a redemption arc via death because he doesnt need to be redeemed!!
I love Emori, but I feel like her and Murphy’s relationship is more based on their “sexual desires” and friendship love than romantic love. And I firmly believe that if Murphy and Raven were ever hinted at this season, Emori would figure it out and tell Murphy that she knows and that she just wants him to be happy. She loves him enough to know how he really feels.

@@naomis5565 Honestly, for the last couple of seasons I've been thinking that Murphy will probably die at the end since his whole thing is surviving. Murphy dying, maybe even sacrificing himself for his friends/loved ones, would be a way to bring his story full circle in a way. I really hope he doesn't die because I love him, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I also wouldn't be surprised if either Clarke or Bellamy died either. I mean we all know at least ONE of the original characters is going to die by the end of this season. I would be more surprised if someone didn't die. I'm just not ready for that though.

@@lilacsky7726 I mean no I don't know for sure, but I would be more surprised if none of them died. The show has no problem killing off original characters and it would be surprising if they were all alive by the end of this season. I'm pretty sure there's been a major character death every season and this is the final season so they're going to wanna go out with a bang if that makes sense. While ideally all of them would be alive by then end, I feel like that would be like game of thrones suddenly deciding that no one was going to die in the final season and all of the main/original characters would survive. It honestly just wouldn't make sense to me.

I have this terrible feeling that Murphy is going to be killed off this season, because in most shows, they can’t just have an anti-hero redemption arc without having them sacrifice their life in the end. And it just seems like they’ve been mentioning the cockroach thing a lot lately. 😭 I will actually be broken if they have Murphy confess his feelings to Raven as he’s dying or something.

i feel like it's because their actors (murphy and emori's actors, i mean) are such good friends. richard always talks about how close and friendly they are, and so their characters ultimately give off more of a friendship 'vibe', and their chemistry seems less romantic than it does friendly. (not to take the piss on the actors, obviously. they're utterly perfect. i mean, sexual/romantic chemistry isn't really something that's made controllable for them it's just a 'vibe' [even though i hate that word] or a social cues/body language thing that the actors don't have that much control over).
also, justin foley deserved so much better. fuck 13rw, even if i still love the show. (< season 4)

Honestly had to pause this quite a few times when the angst got to be too much but believe me, that's a compliment! These two are my favorites favorites favorites and I have shipped them since Murphy *looked* at her in the hammock in 1x10. I know, he was terrible then. But so much more interesting than Finn and I just thought - hmm, now THEY could be interesting. Never expected to end up here but I'm not complaining. Great job!

I respect memori. It's a cute relationship but...murven has more depth to me and is more interesting(?). Not cuz of the cliche he shot girl,bad boy then turns good and falls for girl. I mean murven would technically be a bit cliche but it's also not. The pair just makes sense. Their stares, their talks, the way she calls him cockroach, their small smirks ,the way they forgave eachother but also became so close like family. Murphy and raven grew to have a genuine bond,ans it didnt occur too quickly or too slow, it was good. Murven had HUGE potential to be canon but I can also understand why memori happened.
