    Missed a multiplication by 7 in the last step. Optimal value would correspond to [0, 7.5].

    Hi , since x1 ranges values from 0 to 3,solution is as follows Max [ (8*0+ 7*7.5), (8*3 + 7*0)] by putting values of x1 as 0 & 3 respectively by which we get Max [ 24, 52.5] , which is 52.5 for x1=0 & x2= 7.5 ,which is also better value and satisfies both constraints, I confirmed this also by graphically.your calculation and solution for this problem seems to be incorrect, please recheck again

      Yes definitely you are also right I had seen difference in solutions using backward and forward method. I am not getting it why ,I discussed it with other lecturers but not getting why it happening

    I noticed that applying the forward method, one arrives at the solution x=[0.0 , 7.5] which yields a value of z=52.5, while satisfying the constrains with slack s=[0.5, 0.0]. Could you please comment on this result?

      @@MalikTutorial My calculation goes as follows: for X1=0 and X2=15/2, the objective function is Z=8x0+7x15/2=52.5, the first constraint evaluates at b1'= 2x0+15/2=15/2

      You have to take b1= 8 which is the given available amount .And b2 = 15 as given available amount.you not need to calculate them

      @@MalikTutorial These are just two expressions (primed symbols b1' and b2') only calculated as a check, to confirm that the solution in fact respects the constraints. In other words, just checking that b1'
