Didn't the Pope bring out some edict saying Catholics should try to kill the Elizabeth 1 ? when was that revoked, or did it continue for all Protestant rulers? I know there was one brought out by Theodosius in 391 making it illegal to be Pagan and punishable by death, apparently the Catholic Church only revoked that in 1962. It's a pity various styles of Architecture also get drawn into these territorial disputes, I really like Baroque churches,..but like to imagine they're devoted to Odin, Shiva or Apollo or which ever other God or Goddess I feel like worshiping that day.
Catholic belief isn't that a piece of bread becomes flesh as it touches the tongue, as the speaker mentioned. Bread becomes flesh with the act of consecration performed by the priest at the altar, before consumption of the Eucharist.
