very sad to see so many people only praising this animation by putting death battle down. Both teams worked incredibly hard and it's so disrespectful to both animations to only act like the results matter, and not the passion put into both. Bardock and Nolan actually seem to be themselves from later into their character arcs. Bardock isn't fighting out of revenge or because he's trying to conquer a planet, but out of a desire to protect that planet. He's still seeking the fight out, but not out of selfish reasons. Meanwhile Nolan is only here as a matter of reflecting on his past, but he's still violently unforgiving when it comes to transgressions against him. So he stands his ground and during the fight is chasing down the kill on Bardock. If you do end up bringing Nolan back, I think it could be cool if Bardock interrupts the killing blow to save Nolan from a fate of constantly killing and dying at the behest of others. After all, Bardock is the warrior against fate and still motivated out of revenge, so breaking himself and Nolan out of Sharon's grasp would be thematic. Or just my two cents, great battle and hope you guys don't end up having anymore stressful production cycles.
(We actually produced this long before we knew our friends at DEATH BATTLE were doing it! The showrunner's PC ran into some major issues before it could get uploaded though.)
This is non researched, started production before DB announced they were gonna do this match, and the creators of this respect Death Battle and probably wouldn’t bother with a whole animation debunk even if they disagreed with the outcome.
its at the point where i kinda wonder if people would have more fun if these what-if battles end in draws or get interrupted, letting both characters go all out while making sure neither ends up jobbing to the other. that or one of these death battle shows need to start getting meta with the fight circumstances to begin with, like recalculating their feats literally powers them up or nerfs them accordingly for a rematch lmao. would be kinda dope seeing counterarguments from the comments show up in a rematch if they make valid points. but then again, maybe that'd just add fuel to the fire lmao

I enjoyed it. Sorry, your video got flooded with people comparing it to Death Battle. Also Death Battle fans, people are allowed to think for themselves. Even Death Battle admits they don't definitively confirm who wins, they just give their own opinions. Their opinions hold no more value than yours or mine, but they can make their thoughts into cool animations so good on them. As for people in the comments thinking Death Battle is biased, I'll concede you have a good reason to believe that. It's not about the number of wins a series gets, it's how they treat characters from respective series. For example: Shadow was blatantly disrespected in Shadow vs Mewtwo to make fun of him and in Sonic vs Mario, Sonic was not only out of character but their reasoning for why Sonic didn't scale to certain characters came down to "He just doesn't". Even if Death Battle is better now, they have a track record of showing love to one character or disrespecting the other character. You can't blame people for thinking they're biased even when they aren't. With that said, Death Battle has NOTHING to do with this video so it should stand on its own.
I do think Death Battle has tons of bias or hate for certain characters (I've tried to give them second chances so many times, but Bardock's fight was the straw), but you are right this fight has nothing to do with DB's.

This was really fun to watch I liked the fight alot and how bardock was getting overwhelmed in base to dominating in Super Saiyan. Not gonna lie before the transformation into ssj, I love how Nolan was easily blocking most of Bardock's attacks. Good job on this now excuse me while i proceed to rewatch it again

@ he could never beat bardock, even when scaling omni-mans feats at their highest and bardock's at his lowest. DB power scaling is just different, its also why i think goku couldnt beat comic superman, cause the scaling is insane.
wanna add on that the reaction this got does make me sad, hopefully nobody who worked on this is discouraged though, I really enjoyed both fight animations for this match up and I hope yall continue to do more like this!!!
This was another wonderful fun fight. I hope one day you do Solid Snake vs James Bond that would be great. Rachel Alucard is one of my favorite fighting game characters. Cool video. ^_^
My only problem with this was that this is another battle to the death. Would've preferred if Bardock just knocked him out in base form(cause his base has more solid scaling than Omni Man, especially with the solar disc debunk).
if the episode is hosted by the evil witch and has "month of terror" label in the thumbnail there's 97% chance that is gonna be a battle to the 💀 When the series is hosted by XVX-tan (the blue haired girl) the outcome is usually very different and very rarely contains 💀 Yes, it is a peculiar explanation to make known why there was 💀 in Omni-man vs Bardock,but that's how we kinda work. (also this was made before the DB version ,although im aware two other versions existed (CFC and Just fights) so i dont have excuse here) (Had to repost the comment because i dont know what happneed that it doesnt show LOL)
Yoooo, Jamix007? I remember seeing his work in Fatal Conflict, back on the Rewind Rumble channel. It's good to know he's still kicking. The other animators killed it too. With this and Death Battle, we have peak in 3D and peak in 2D.

people out here forgetting that bardock was stronger than saiyans that could no diff planets. Omni-man was at MINIMUM mid diffing continents. you guys can keep dreaming that Omni-man wins, but his "planet destruction" was wiping out a population. a piccolo that was weaker than raditz could destroy the MOON INSTANTLY.
Saiyans are genetically stronger and even by going individual wise,Omni man is not even barely planet level when he needed the help of two more viltrumites to destroy a planet

And I could say hes continental+, but even when he obliterated an entire civilization, he still got tired out doing so, whereas someone like nappa obliterated entire cities with the flick of his wrist, and both CAN and HAS blown up small planets with a casual energy blast. And bardock was significantly stronger than nappa, who iirc was calculated to large planet?
Going off The Roche and moon calculations from death battle Viltrum would be bigger than Jupiter. And Jupiter can fit over 1300 earths in it. And destabilizing a planet doesn’t make it softer. That would mean omiman destroyed the equivalent mass of 430+ earths. This number would also line up with the Disc feat they used. Showing that there calculations aren’t random and this debunked nothing💀
@@piipoovv6267 I never said anything about destabilizing planets, and the disk feat is completely mickey business. These guys can glance away planets, omni-man needs effort to conquer continents. It’s that simple. You’re just coping. Flexan is the example I’m using here, and bro had to put decent effort into it. Most saiyans could have launched a blast and obliterated it from space with literally zero effort, and could solo the population in a matter of hours if they felt like it. The only real feat that I’m giving Omni-man is speed. But that doesn’t even really mean anything, because saiyans are also fast as all hell.

They are still trying to reach their daily quota. Good animation though, loved the sheer speed. Some people don't get that, or think because of the release date, they are salty over DB's results. This would have been out before DB, if not for PC issues which delayed it badly
Almost as if VS debating is subjective and different people have different interpretations of certain feats It’s another cool animation of an interesting matchup with tons of thematic similarities; it’s the time to simply enjoy
Always remember these 3 facts people: First: This fight was finished well before DB. IRL issues caused it to be delayed, and the outcome wasnt decided by what DB did. Second: Just cause Death Battle says something, doesnt mean its correct. They dont own this match up, nor are they gods of VS debating, they get things, and have gotten things wrong before. They are just humans, error is human nature. And third: Counting this, there are now 4 VS shows that have done this match up.

I like Pixel better than 3d as well i miss when they used their actual voices and music as well. Not making up everything. I get it allows for more conversations etc idc about db much anymore anyway. But Atleast bowser vs eggman is interesting
And people who talk about Death Battle actin like they are the only ones allowed to do VS shows/always get fights right, are equally annoying. Death BAttle may have had one of, if not the biggest impact on VS in general, but they are not gods of VS animation or VS debating. Just cause they say, or do something, doesn't make it better or correct all the time.

And "improvement" is often one step foward, 2 steps back. Their last season I can think of only 3 decent episodes, that had a good fight, and that didn't screw characters over with a bad case of OOC, or making them looking like crap during battle, or rely on memes or "they said the funny line". Results are only a smal part of the fault.
Well maybe they should start being consistent because sometimes they will do something thats really fucking good and some other times is a complete mess whenever they get something completely wrong leave out some context and sometimes even getting characterization wrong and there are cases where they are just biased too so the hate is warrented.

There's a part of me that thinks that Omni-Man was suppose to win this, and Bardock winning was suppose to be the Pareon ending. However, they switched the endings around to be different from Death Battle. It's possible that I'm wrong, but the setup makes Bardock look so ordinary, and Omni-Man look so mysterious, that it gives me that vibe.
Hello XVX showrunner here I must disprove the theory , the Bardock winning ending was decided way before Death Battle version announcement or release because i wasn't convinced on Omni-man's Ending (which was the original provided by the animator i can definetly confirm that) , if you want proof you can talk with anyone involved on the episode and they'll confirm it (even with screenshots) ,there's no recording for Sharon and Victor scenes for the "Omni-man winning" version ,it dont exist. it was even mentioned in the disclaimer in the very beginning , the Omni-man ending will be posted on Patreon in a pair of hours and you will see the reason why the ending was changed (although is very highly likely that i'll post Omni-man ending in public in a pair of weeks or soon,i'm personally not sure,i'll see what i'm gonna do) and not gonna lie i genuinely thought the DB version would get Bardock Winning and i made this decision not only because i wasn't convinced on Omni-man ending but also as some sort of "PREDICTION" too , instead of taking advantage , i genuinely wanted this to be posted before DB version but a lot of stuff happened behind the scenes ,my PC exploded and everything (i live in Latinamerica so post production tends to be very different here , we dont tend to have stuff asap) ,so...yeah here we are.
This is cool! I loved how fast paced the fight was but if I had to give some criticism I would say that bardock kinda went super saiyan for no reason I think he should've been hit with a massive blow or something from omni man that knocked him off his feet and did some good damage to him which then makes him realize that omni man absolutely had to go and the fun and games was over so then he goes super saiyan but non the less this was sick
At least this channel had the correct result. Bardock beats Omniman hard, Death battle gave Omniman the win to stir controversy. They basically just spoon fed hardcore invincible fans a win they shouldn’t have had.

This was really fun to watch I liked the fight alot and how bardock was getting overwhelmed in base to dominating in Super Saiyan.
Not gonna lie before the transformation into ssj, I love how Nolan was easily blocking most of Bardock's attacks.

@ he could never beat bardock, even when scaling omni-mans feats at their highest and bardock's at his lowest. DB power scaling is just different, its also why i think goku couldnt beat comic superman, cause the scaling is insane.

My only problem with this was that this is another battle to the death. Would've preferred if Bardock just knocked him out in base form(cause his base has more solid scaling than Omni Man, especially with the solar disc debunk).

people out here forgetting that bardock was stronger than saiyans that could no diff planets. Omni-man was at MINIMUM mid diffing continents. you guys can keep dreaming that Omni-man wins, but his "planet destruction" was wiping out a population. a piccolo that was weaker than raditz could destroy the MOON INSTANTLY.
Saiyans are genetically stronger and even by going individual wise,Omni man is not even barely planet level when he needed the help of two more viltrumites to destroy a planet

And I could say hes continental+, but even when he obliterated an entire civilization, he still got tired out doing so, whereas someone like nappa obliterated entire cities with the flick of his wrist, and both CAN and HAS blown up small planets with a casual energy blast. And bardock was significantly stronger than nappa, who iirc was calculated to large planet?
Going off The Roche and moon calculations from death battle Viltrum would be bigger than Jupiter. And Jupiter can fit over 1300 earths in it. And destabilizing a planet doesn’t make it softer. That would mean omiman destroyed the equivalent mass of 430+ earths. This number would also line up with the Disc feat they used. Showing that there calculations aren’t random and this debunked nothing💀

Flexan is the example I’m using here, and bro had to put decent effort into it. Most saiyans could have launched a blast and obliterated it from space with literally zero effort, and could solo the population in a matter of hours if they felt like it.
The only real feat that I’m giving Omni-man is speed. But that doesn’t even really mean anything, because saiyans are also fast as all hell.

This is one heck of a battle between two father figures.
Always remember these 3 facts people:
First: This fight was finished well before DB. IRL issues caused it to be delayed, and the outcome wasnt decided by what DB did.
Second: Just cause Death Battle says something, doesnt mean its correct. They dont own this match up, nor are they gods of VS debating, they get things, and have gotten things wrong before. They are just humans, error is human nature.
And third: Counting this, there are now 4 VS shows that have done this match up.

Apart from being a DB guy who was honestly surprised and disappointed about DB's take on the fight... I like this one a lot more, I think this pixel art style looks better most of the time.
I like Pixel better than 3d as well i miss when they used their actual voices and music as well. Not making up everything. I get it allows for more conversations etc idc about db much anymore anyway. But Atleast bowser vs eggman is interesting

And people who talk about Death Battle actin like they are the only ones allowed to do VS shows/always get fights right, are equally annoying. Death BAttle may have had one of, if not the biggest impact on VS in general, but they are not gods of VS animation or VS debating. Just cause they say, or do something, doesn't make it better or correct all the time.

And "improvement" is often one step foward, 2 steps back. Their last season I can think of only 3 decent episodes, that had a good fight, and that didn't screw characters over with a bad case of OOC, or making them looking like crap during battle, or rely on memes or "they said the funny line". Results are only a smal part of the fault.
Well maybe they should start being consistent because sometimes they will do something thats really fucking good and some other times is a complete mess whenever they get something completely wrong leave out some context and sometimes even getting characterization wrong
and there are cases where they are just biased too so the hate is warrented.

There's a part of me that thinks that Omni-Man was suppose to win this, and Bardock winning was suppose to be the Pareon ending. However, they switched the endings around to be different from Death Battle.
It's possible that I'm wrong, but the setup makes Bardock look so ordinary, and Omni-Man look so mysterious, that it gives me that vibe.

I must disprove the theory , the Bardock winning ending was decided way before Death Battle version announcement or release because i wasn't convinced on Omni-man's Ending (which was the original provided by the animator i can definetly confirm that) , if you want proof you can talk with anyone involved on the episode and they'll confirm it (even with screenshots) ,there's no recording for Sharon and Victor scenes for the "Omni-man winning" version ,it dont exist.
it was even mentioned in the disclaimer in the very beginning , the Omni-man ending will be posted on Patreon in a pair of hours and you will see the reason why the ending was changed (although is very highly likely that i'll post Omni-man ending in public in a pair of weeks or soon,i'm personally not sure,i'll see what i'm gonna do)
and not gonna lie i genuinely thought the DB version would get Bardock Winning and i made this decision not only because i wasn't convinced on Omni-man ending but also as some sort of "PREDICTION" too , instead of taking advantage , i genuinely wanted this to be posted before DB version but a lot of stuff happened behind the scenes ,my PC exploded and everything (i live in Latinamerica so post production tends to be very different here , we dont tend to have stuff asap) ,so...yeah here we are.

I loved how fast paced the fight was but if I had to give some criticism I would say that bardock kinda went super saiyan for no reason I think he should've been hit with a massive blow or something from omni man that knocked him off his feet and did some good damage to him which then makes him realize that omni man absolutely had to go and the fun and games was over so then he goes super saiyan but non the less this was sick
