@@Loremen crt tubes used to have a distinctive magentic field (called the tempest effect), so they detected that, though the effectiveness dropped off with the rise of home computing as moniters would give the same readings (if you've ever turned on an old moniter next to another moniter you'd see it in play as the screen on the qctive.moniter would go funny fora second or two) , they are largely redundant now withnrose of LED screens
I genuinely said the same thing about nuns on public transport to someone last week! I swear they were all over the place in the 90s. I'd say "where did they all go?" but now that I think about it, I only ever remember seeing elderly ones. Did they die out? Was there not a viable breeding population left? Somebody call Attenborough...
They're just another unheralded victim of global climate change. Shorter, milder winters with hotter summers simply cannot support local nun populations given their habit of wearing many layers of long clothes 😞
Maso AND the Loreboys? I've never clicked so fast!
Oh boy, my two favourite podcasts collide, what a treat!!
Enjoy!
They did use to detect cathode ray tubes and then check against a list of houses with tv licenses
No way!!!

As an Australian of long standing, I think it’s Alan “Mozza” Moore. He could be “Beard”, but that’s my handle, and I’ll fight him for it.
You never got "red turtle" or anything of that ilk
@@Loremen No, my school days nickname was “Ralph”, as was my younger brother. I stopped shaving after school and had “Beard” from then on.
Two items: Masaux was great and quite frankly I could listen to James and ABK do generic Beatle/Ringo Starr for hours.
Ahhhhh mate! It's m' main cobbers Jimbo, Ali B Ranga, and Maso. This ep was liquid gold...ahem
Hahahaha
You can't tell me dogs don't feel guilt. I know better.
They say they do, sure!
