I have reached a level of fandom for Miss Cassie that when I see Luxury stuff I'm like "Cassie will have her 2cents on this! Can't wait!" And she. does. not. disappoint.
I love how you research for every video! I will confess wanting their pieces especially because of reputation. But extremely expensive now. The Jumbo here in Switzerland is 10,200 swiss francs (11k usd). And I got my Hermes Constance 24 from my local H boutique for 8,800 swiss francs and the quality is flawless! Oh my oh my
The magic of those CC's is simply hypnotic AND the fact that Chanel, more so than ANY brand, is so intertwined with escapist, luxury fantasies of Paris. And those "classic looks" that everyone recognizes, the tweed jacket and the classic flap. Loved seeing your Mom again! And, someday, it would be fantastic to see some of her vintage Chanel RTW pieces!
This is probably one of my favorite videos from you. Tired of seeing all those “I’m not shopping at Chanel or I’m cancelling Chanel” videos. The 90s Chanel aesthetic will never die. I’m going vintage to save some coins lol 😂😂😂😂😂
I’m still trying to be a Chanel girly. I think part of the allure is seeing vintage chanel and still finding the pieces beautiful and relevant. You can’t say that about many other brands who don’t have as strong of an identity as Chanel. That being said Chanel deserves all the criticism for their price increases. Loved this video ❤
Mama Cass summed it up perfectly "come on those Chanel jackets, I can wear ANY" (gosh a glimpse into her wardrobe would be a DREAM) . 90's Chanel just as relevant today as it was then, and again those magnificent pieces that you can pass down to children, grandchildren etc.
I feel like you hit the nail on the head, they really create their own universe in terms of fashion. They create this from the Chanel number 5 you’d see as a child majestically sitting in your local department store, to its role in pop culture generally. Personally, my first time taking heed was in early episodes of Friends with Jennifer Garner & her Chanel classic flap & talking about the perfume. They really are the coca-cola of fashion. I feel like to the fact it’s icy customer service kinda adds to the allure, it’s the Regina George effect
I refuse to purchase Chanel right now. They are trying to be Hermes and their prices are ridiculous...but they will NEVER be Hermes. With Hermes the quality speaks for itself and Chanel has serious quality issues. Just be old Chanel and I will reconsider.
One of the most brutally honest videos I’ve watched on the topic, with all the energy and excitement I still get from Chanel, even though they can make me question my love affair sometimes. ❤
I went to a store to check some items and was honestly appalled by the lack of quality. (Backstory) So I purchased an item right before it hit stores due to my amazing sa in another country. The quality of the item was ok(not old Chanel but acceptable) & I decided to visit a store in the country I was at the time to see the items from that collection that just started coming in. The quality of items was so bad it made me leave the store! Leather was coming out of chains on new display bags, garments looked worn, patent leather items looked as if they were vintage and extensively used. Hats also had indentations, jewelry looked tarnished. On top of that horror; I got stopped by the security on my way out as they thought I have stolen my bag (the one I got a bit earlier because of my sa)!!! I honestly don’t know if will ever be going to Chanel again! My advice to everyone who still wants to buy current items: Please be very careful and check the quality in detail before you buy!
I have two recently purchased bags that have threads unraveling. I have a friend who's chain links that become loose. Customer service is lack luster as well
I tend to agree with your lovely mama. Chanel Classic is simply that: classic, and all that entails. But sticking with that premise, I now purchase my leather goods, primarily handbags and card holders/wallets, from vintage sellers. Not just pre-loved, but vintage. I want the 24k gold plated hardware and I prefer the older style of quilting (there is a difference), and the quality and patina of older leather. I’m classic myself, definitely pre-loved, have a few replacement parts, and I’m content with that. But I do love the odd piece of current RTW! Excellent analysis, Cassie, as usual! PS: If you ever have the time, go find my comment on your engagement announcement video. Sending lots of love. ❤
My husband got my sister’s help for my push present. Thank goodness she gave me a clue. I looked up the recent price and I nearly choked. Their hardware and overall quality has worsened. I feel guilt of anyone getting it for me and I’ll probably get it pre loved. I ended up getting the Louis Vuitton Cherie Pumps and Vavin bag. There were a total surprise and I couldn’t be happier.
The last Chanel I purchased was a classic flap 2 years ago, and it was a beautiful vintage. I haven’t had anything Chanel in my wish-list since then. 🤷🏻♀️ Instead of an ex, I’d compare Chanel to having a kid… one and done 😂
I love Chanel and will continue to purchase Chanel because like you said the aesthetic is unmatched and no other brand simply makes me as excited. Yes, I’m probably priced out of the classic flaps but thankfully I already have one and don’t really want anymore. Amazing video as always Cassie! You’re so good at what you do and I LOVE that you pronounce Hermes correctly!! 😊
Well you have made your point Cassie, as long as the high demand continues (despite quality issues),, prices will continue to rise, and poor quality need not be addressed.
Chanel really is irreplaceable. No other high end brand captures their aesthetic. They have so much inventory. Its actually overwhelming lol. The idea of "secret bags" that dont make it on the site is also dangerously addicting lol
Our favorite fashion journalist is at it again! Great analysis, Cassie! I think what you and your mom discussed is spot-on; there is a timelessness to a lot of what Chanel does. The brand has had the same core elements for decades. I feel like they are in the strongest position in that regard of any fashion house.
❤❤❤I enjoy watching anything Chanel but I’m not necessarily going to run and buy new pieces. I love vintage for their quality and style. Excellent video, Cassie! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁
I started on my luxury journey like two years ago. While I love the look of a classic flap, I haven’t bought one. I hate the idea of having to worry about quality. I buy most of my lux items from Saint Laurent and Hermes because I’ve had great experiences with both.
I am not “not” buying Chanel. If i love it purchase it. I have a few things from recent collections (more RTW) and all have been impeccable- I do not care for the “classic” bags and prefer seasonal items - And those I own are beautifully made. I can always find a special piece in every collection - I never base it on a runway show- those have very little tondo with quality. Its all about what you love and how comfortable you are with your own style. ❤❤. Anyway love this video. Thanks for sharing.
Love hearing your mother’s opinion. I share a similar opinion as her when it comes to their jackets. I have some good jackets/blazers that are great and I’ll pass on to my daughter. Although, I won’t buy Chanel at their prices and as we know.. today’s prices are not yesterday’s prices; so I don’t foresee buying anything else from them. However, I do love their vintage bags and would buy a vintage Diana if I come across one that makes my heart sing. Other than that, I’m saving my coins. Great video Cassie. Xx
I rewatched this video in the background while working and had to stop to let you know how I absolutely agree with you on how only in Chanel would we find this kind of aesthetic. Every now and then I forgot why I pulled a trigger on my mini flap in turquoise (also in patent) last year, eventhough the bag is some years old with last year's price tag! I didn't have Chanel in my mind when starting my collection, but then I remember thinking that turquoise bag in that aesthetic (puffy chevron) will only be done by Chanel and no one else. I thought of maybe YSL, Bottega, would do it one day but I just knew nothing will be quite the same aesthetically. Even with cheaper options and how some bashes on patent leather being tacky and cheap (hence why are you paying premium for such plasticky look), I never see any pvc flap bag looking as gorgeous as Chanel's patent. Before I knew it, it became a now-or-never situation 😂 Sorry it became a quite lengthy wall of text lol but I just wanna voice out that you made the right decision with that mermaid mini flap! It's like no other 💚💙💚💙
I agree with everything you’ve said! Chanel will always be Chanel.. & everyone I’ve seen on UA-cam that said they won’t buy from Chanel as always relapses lol. The issue I have is if you don’t have a good SA nothing is ever available - they are really trying to limit stock which is unfortunate for people who still want to buy. BTW love your videos 🙌🏾 - & it was lovely seeing you mom too - I miss your parents in your videos 😆
Hi Cassie , hey beautiful 💜 I m a Chanel girl … But a Chanel kind of fun girl .. I had so many classics in the past sold all of them kept only one a turquoise one .. And some seasonal funky bags I have in funky colors .. Gets ton of compliments .. Love also the brand for her resale value ..
I do miss the shows - I think for me while i was saving up for my first i would watch the shows and imagine what piece i would buy if i could or what appealed to me. Now i dont really watch the shows and just see what has dropped - or i am out shopping and i pop in and something pulls will tell me if i am to take it home. I will also say - the stores could be friendlier/more helpful. I was in one store and no one was helping me so i was looking at a bag on a shelf somewhat next to/behind a counter and got scolded like a child for being behind the counter. I left immediately and bought the same bag in the Neiman's baby Chanel (and they were SUPER nice)
Great analysis Cassie. Don’t also forget the great magic of Chanel: versatility. This is why they have us by the ovaries 😢 You can wear a classic flap from morning until night, from the grocery to the park to the ritziest department store to the car pickup line then to the fanciest dinner. I have my mother’s classic flap from the 1990s and it is utterly indispensable: timeless, a workhorse and yet completely chic. Ugh! Vintage and preowned forever but I will buy again 😭
I completely relate to you!!! with all the crazy price increase, I told myself, I will never ever buy another Chanel again. yet this year I fall in love with their 2023 spring collection, went to the store hoping to get the little heart chain mini flap (also feel like the price is more reasonable just under 5k) But!!! since I haven't shop in the store for three years, my old SA left, and the attitude they have was so so so bad!!!! and they said we don't have this bag, is sold out, can't order for your, forget about it. THATS IT. Never going back again, with that anger, I went to the Hermes store and scored a Constance, So much better quality and attitude. Happy with my Choice, and feel like that's god tell me forget about Chanel 😂
Couldn’t wait to inherit my Grandmothers Chanel collection! She was maybe 5’1. I turned out at 5’8 and watched it sail by ❤️. Her bags yes…suits no😢. I still have them and should resell them but putting my “grandmother for Sale”. Is😊 odd. Congratulations Cassie ❤ another one hit out of the park!
Why don't you take the jackets to the Chanel seamstress, depending on the style for that particular season they can extend the panels between 2-3 sizes up and then down again. They can do the sleeves, shoulders and even move the chain in the hem to give you some extra length...Just a thought.
Great idea…saved them for my daughter as I am a size 4 bottom and 12 jacket. Yes I was a swimmer🤣❤️. Grandmother was barely a 0. Was always tiny till my growth spurt of 6 inches in height one summer. MY DAUGHTER THINKS they are ugly, but loves the sweaters and bags.
Best best review on Chanel’s latest tricks since Karl’s passing so far. I am sucker too and always tend to give in. Chanel is definitely the Mr. Big in the luxury fashion game.
Great video!!!Chanel is the only brand that gives women the powerful yet feminine vibe at the same time. Their tweed is handmade in France and unparalleled.
The other frustrating aspect with Chanel is no option for online buying …they need to join the rest of the world in e commerce …love your videos Ca$$ie
Me and Em this season has produced two Chanel lookalike cardigan jackets. I have always wanted to own one from Chanel but just couldn't afford the thousands of pound they cost. The ones from Me and Em are £250 so no contest between £250 and thousands of pounds, right? I bought the cream, navy and black one, then when it arrived I had to order the other one in navy, red and white. Being aware of all the quality issues that Chanel has, I was curious to find out what the lower price point buys you. Well, I have to say the quality is fantastic. They are beautiful. I think if the Chanel label was sewn into these pieces you wouldn't know the difference. In fact, they are probably better quality than what Chanel could produce. Which makes me realise what massive profits Chanel makes on its ready-to-wear. With Me and Em I know a lot of care and love has gone into the making of these pieces - and that feeling imbues the garments I bought with even more quality.
Cassie, never say never about a fashion house, you know they’re going to tempt you with something right out of left field. Yr Mum was right that bag you like is defo 11/@10. Congratulations on yr engagement 💍💎💍 too. Best wishes from Adelaide; South Australia🇦🇺💐
Very interesting topic. I agree with most of the things you mentioned but I agree more with your mum. With the crazy price increase trend in most of the popular brands like LV, Gucci, Dior we choose Chanel (especially if it is within the same price range) because of its status and also because Chanel remains a Chanel, we know it is a classic piece that we will enjoy wearing and can also sell without losing much of our hard earned money. Now more than anytime because of the inflation and constant price increase want to make sure that we are not losing our hard earned money. I have few Chanel bags that I am happy with and I may consider buying a new one in the future if the price is reasonable even if the design is different and new as long as I know that I can wear it everyday and I think that Chanel are coming now with other options for those of us who don’t want to pay the price of the Classic Flap and may be there will be more options in the future. That for us who can’t buy a Chanel every month or year but I wonder how the regular customers of Chanel will make out their decisions when the price gap between Chanel and Hermes will be smaller and smaller. This price increase competition/War between the big brands will definitely have an impact on the luxury market and it may lead to something not favorable to all. There will be a time where they will have to stop and change their strategy, nobody knows when is the next recession or pandemic. By the way, I am interested to know how Chanel is doing in Sales in Comparison to Dior. I feel that more and more people now prefer Dior over Chanel for the price point and young style. Will be interesting to know who is getting the biggest slice of the cake but I guess such information will not be available or accurate due to the constant price increases and their percentages. Thank you Cassie for the time and effort you put in your videos, I really enjoy them and learned a lot from you about the fashion world. Your analysis and comments are spot on. I always imagine you as an editor in a big fashion magazine or leading a team in the fashion industry and I really mean it.
I will always love, love love Chanel. I'm older Gen X, and I think of Karl Lagerfeld and the glorious 90s supermodels the same way that a lot of millennials think of the first-run Sex and the City women. They were the ultimate in fashion, glamour, and living the fantasy jetset life. We didn't have Internet then (obviously), so I'd pour over photos in Vogue and Women's Wear Daily, dazed by the magnificent clothes and chic models were. Every Saturday morning I'd be glued to CNN to see Elsa Klensch's fashion segment where she'd show the latest from the runway. I've never attained a financial level where I could deck myself in Chanel head to toe, but I pick up a piece or two each season, and it still makes me swoon. It always will.
I'm in Australia and I work in the luxury industry. I almost screamed when I heard you talking about the poor customer service at Chanel as opposed to the good one you get at Dior and Fendi because here, in Melbourne, on the other side of the world, people say exactly the same. That makes me think that it has to be a worldwide brand policy: Chanel wants people to be intimidated (and sometimes belittled) in their stores whilst Dior and Fendi want people to have fun shopping.
Exquisite research! 💯🙌🏿 All very salient points you make, I completely concur. Chanel is one of the few houses I needed effort to charm the SAs. Normally just walking into a store and being me is enough to get the kindest and sweetest reactions. In fact I practically live in Fendi 😂. But I am happy to say I have finally cracked that nut at Chanel’s. I mean even the doormen wave to me from the shop😂. I mean yesterday I went without an appointment and there was a very long line per usual and the doorman came out when he saw me and said he is certain I have an appointment, I should come in. I shamefacedly said no, I didn’t have one. He insisted and said my SA had told him to let me in. I went in with a very big blush I can tell you. At least 3 girls came up and wanted to serve me bc my SA was occupied. So that is a nice feeling. What can I say? Chanel is Chanel and the items just give every single outfit that little sparkle. I am here for that.I got the coco rush ring in red gold with pavé diamonds yesterday and still can’t stop looking at my fingers. Sooooo pretty. So yes, I am with Mami Thorpe on this one, it is for generations.I love Chanel And i can’t believe I am saying this but yes, that mini classic flap is worth the get!!!🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Hi Cassie! First, CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement! I'm just catching up on your videos and couldn't believe I'd missed it! Anyway, onto the topic at hand...to me, Chanel is equivalent to love at first sight, high school sweetheart, married young and never regretted. But I think that's because I came of age in the era of Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford at Gucci, and back then luxury was way more affordable than it is now. I think you and your mom hit the nail on the head in terms of Chanel's lasting reputation. I never have to worry that it'll do some terrible Balenciaga stuff, for example. And I actually really love Virginie's new direction. That last runway show was stunning! Those animal sculptures, those coats! I died for all of it. For me, Chanel is the brand I fall in love with over and over again.
I agree, it is intimidating. I had an SA in 2020 and 2021, but I haven’t bought anything in a year and a half, so I’m like I have to start from scratch again if I want to buy Chanel 😅😬
Hi Cassie …I am like your MOM a Chanel true lover since I was 18 ! I have been to many of Karl’s shows and it was always very emotional and amazing ! Loved everything from Karl ! I agree that Virginie always thinks of the body of the women and her clothes are more wearable than Karl’s ! But her shows lack personality and and fantasy, her clothes dont bring me magic , her bags …well I dont see anything special ! As you mentioned each show had special bags , not w Virginie ….and of course do not get me started on the bags quality 😮 Still, each time I have $ to spend and I wanna buy another brand I can NOT bring myself to it 😅 Your MOM is so right ! I think Chanel is so iconic, classy and original! Their true lovers , since the beginning , will always be in love !
I love how Cassie looks into the different aspect of Chanel’s marketing strategy. I never dream that I will be so into Chanel now as compared to the past! I am more of a Hermes person so to be spending SGD5k for Chanel is absurd. But nowadays, it’s like I am hooked into chasing after their CF and if I can get my hands on a nice seasonal flap I am all ready to go. Gone were the days when I only looked for classic. Chanel’s strategy is really top notch, ppl are willing to spend thousands on whatever they launch and even their air pod holders are hard to get!
I was shopping on the weekend and had my eye on a WOC from Chanel for some time and while they didnt have the one i wanted i tried some on anyway.. the zippers looked cheap, the feel of the bag was like it came from a bargain store.. customer service was horrible… but regardless of all this i looked and these bags said thank you to the SA and walked out… i am turned off!!! I always always wanted a pink woc but after that and seeing the quality… i walked into Fendi and walked out with a mini baguette ..and Love it!!! I might give cc another go in a year.. i need a break 🤦🏻♀️
Loved the video Ca$$ie! I think what is also interesting is that Coco Chanel herself was often about simplicity and ease of wear (pioneering women's fashion from elaborate dresses to trousers, black and white palate, etc...). Virginie seems to be more cut from that original cloth (pun!) than Karl. PS-Congrats on engagement!!!
Chanel to me is something I wouldn't spend on because not only the dark history of the brand but just that it is too overpriced and quality has gone down so much it's not worth it.
I gave my opinion and you lot have nothing better to do than rag on it fine. I still stand that I won't buy from Chanel cause of the price and quality. So you grow up
I've always been a fashion rebel wearing men's boxers over ripped tights nothing matching just plain weird or men's athletic/skater vibes especially not having the money or music tapes then cds were more important to me but I love project runway and all the great stuff you show us makes me wish I had the funds and body to pull it off. I'm also only 4'11 which takes me out of the running for most of it. I keep watching you though you're so charming and fun to watch!
I’d love a video where you go over luxury brands that are on the lower end like items selling between $200-500 and what are some of your fav things that you’d consider buying or would recommend to us! :)….ps love your videos!
Cass, the Durrty Thirty BD haul is EVERYTHING! Too many great pieces to choose a fav. I, too, treated myself to a Tiffany piece of jewelry for my BD, 2-10. 🎉🎉
My hubby purchased me a seasonal love lock bag years ago and I love it. After that I purchased a WOC around 1100 and a mini rectangular less than 2k. I'm done. Today's prices are crazy!
Actually grateful that I’ve never had the same style as Chanel. I’ve never wanted to buy it, it’s been wild watching it in recent years from the outside.
OMG there used to be another you tuber that did this sort of really well-Informed, interesting fashion news & commentary called Amaya Luxe, she disappeared 1 day and I was sad. Since I discovered Cassie things are looking up!! You’re Killing it 😊
I absolutely agree that chanel stores are intimidating and when I enter them I personally don't feel welcomed. I went to the store in Berlin and Düsseldorf and they were the worst luxury store experiences for me so far. Fendi and Dior stores are the complete opposite tho. There employees are so nice, friendly and know how to sell the brand and not the product. Just the other week a Fendi employee invited me, a broke student who loves fashion, to the store opening party the next day. It was so amazing and I think that these stores are more likely to sell stuff to younger people like me because they help connect only positive emotions to the brand.
This video was EXCELLENT!! So we'll researched and structured. I just love how passionate you are about fashion but that you are so good at looking at the industry through/ brand as a whole from a business stand point. Everyone who watches your channel loves fashion. Brilliant to have intelligent conversations on the topic. Your videos are chefs kiss. You are the only UA-camr whose videos I never miss each week. Also so happy for you and Ni. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and laughter ❤️
Great video! I dont understand the hype with Chanel given all the issues and garbage customer service. But to each their own. Cassie, I have not seen a more beautiful girl than you! Gorgeous.
Love the history, research and comparisons. Very valid points I agree with. With Chanel under Karl I liked so many clothing and bags but under the new designer it is just a handful and lacking in Karl's flair and inventive permutations. The focus on basics in the clothing is what is selling and wearable. Do not mention the word basic to Coco or Karl. It is not part of the Chanel ethos 😅
I do love a bit of Chanel I cannot lie. As soon as I see those double C’s my heart goes pitter patter❤especially the jewellery & some of the variations of bags & I have some heels & flats. But like you Cassie there are some things I wouldn’t buy.
I have reached a level of fandom for Miss Cassie that when I see Luxury stuff I'm like "Cassie will have her 2cents on this! Can't wait!" And she. does. not. disappoint.
Aahhh you’re so lovely!! 😭💖

Great idea! I missed Mummy Thorpe as well ❤
This is probably one of my favorite videos from you. Tired of seeing all those “I’m not shopping at Chanel or I’m cancelling Chanel” videos. The 90s Chanel aesthetic will never die. I’m going vintage to save some coins lol 😂😂😂😂😂
She's a fashion insider and a business analyst! 💫💫💫
I do love this style of video. Thanks Cassie! 💖
The fact that you're mommy is planning/thinking of her granddaughter is everything😭♥️♥️
I’m still trying to be a Chanel girly. I think part of the allure is seeing vintage chanel and still finding the pieces beautiful and relevant. How has this Chanel ONLY got 100k subscribers. Honestly I find it bizarre. You honestly deserve millions 🙌🏼🙌🏾🙏🏻❤️❤️
Chanel or channel?
I feel like you hit the nail on the head, they really create their own universe in terms of fashion. I’m all about vintage Chanel. Karl’s genius is a tough act to follow. Great video! Appreciated your well balanced perspective.
Same! Nothing beats vintage Chanel, the quality is impeccable!
Blessed weekend Cassie! Chanel is just that brand you keep on going to no joke😊… love or hate the brand no matter what 🥰🥰.
😂💖💖
I refuse to purchase Chanel right now. They are trying to be Hermes and their prices are ridiculous...but they will NEVER be Hermes. With Hermes the quality speaks for itself and Chanel has serious quality issues. Just be old Chanel and I will reconsider.
Good! Hermes are snobs!
Exactly, they can’t be Hermes. Never will be
Hermes is manly. Chanel is feminine that the difference. It’s the aesthetic. Will never purchase Kelly or Birkin
Would you? Really? You would spend $8000 on a sweater becuase it says "CHANEL" on it?
@@patr70 exit on the left haha only kidding
One of the most brutally honest videos I’ve watched on the topic, with all the energy and excitement I still get from Chanel, even though they can make me question my love affair sometimes. ❤

I loved this video! I think it was super informative and well researched. Cassie is my favorite source for news 💕
So so happy you liked it Kira! I’m really proud of how it came together 🥹💖
I love the Vavin! Congrats on your goodies and the baby!
The last Chanel I purchased was a classic flap 2 years ago, and it was a beautiful vintage. I haven’t had anything Chanel in my wish-list since then. 🤷🏻♀️ Instead of an ex, I’d compare Chanel to having a kid… one and done 😂
Some of us have more than one child so doesn’t apply
Agreed

Yep 🫠😭😭
Chanel really is irreplaceable. No other high end brand captures their aesthetic. They have so much inventory. Its actually overwhelming lol. The idea of "secret bags" that dont make it on the site is also dangerously addicting lol

Its all about what you love and how comfortable you are with your own style. ❤❤. Anyway love this video. Thanks for sharing.
Yes. Mine too. Beautiful pieces from RTW to handbags
So nice to come home on a Friday after a long day at work and have a new Cassie video to watch!!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Xx
Chanel just stands the test of time, we can’t deny that! I can’t wait to be able to dip into their RTW. Btw loved seeing your mum pop in 😍
I rewatched this video in the background while working and had to stop to let you know how I absolutely agree with you on how only in Chanel would we find this kind of aesthetic. Before I knew it, it became a now-or-never situation 😂
Sorry it became a quite lengthy wall of text lol but I just wanna voice out that you made the right decision with that mermaid mini flap! It's like no other 💚💙💚💙
Yes! That’s exactly it - there’s no alternative that comes close! 🙌🏽💖💖
I miss Karl, he was a visionary. Virginie is just a bit eh… although I totally relate to the toxic ex vibes, I just bought another bag last week 🤦♀️
I’m glad it’s not just me who remains tempted 😂
Cass your videos are so well researched & interesting! I will watch you till im 70 yrs old! Pls never stop making fashion content 😭❤️
I have a suggestion….have you ever considered doing a luxury fragrance video??? Pls I would love to see what’s on your list!!!
So true!! The versatility!!
Cassie’s never wrong 👏🏼👏🏼💚💚💚💚
Awww we love seeing your mom in your videos ❤❤. I love how she hinted grand daughter.❤❤
I love moms viewpoint! You should include her more ❤mama knows best!!!
Loved hearing your Mum’s thoughts and I agree.
Best best review on Chanel’s latest tricks since Karl’s passing so far. I am sucker too and always tend to give in. Chanel is definitely the Mr. Big in the luxury fashion game.
So happy you enjoyed this!!
Great video!!!Chanel is the only brand that gives women the powerful yet feminine vibe at the same time. Their tweed is handmade in France and unparalleled.
Agreed. Hermes reminds me of when my daughter ride horses and going to muck a horse stall. Yuck
The other frustrating aspect with Chanel is no option for online buying …they need to join the rest of the world in e commerce …love your videos Ca$$ie
I love Chanel and always will!
I’m also a gen x. Total Chanel girl. Just picked up a couple pieces from spring. Stunning.
All very salient points you make, I completely concur.
So yes, I am with Mami Thorpe on this one, it is for generations.I love Chanel
And i can’t believe I am saying this but yes, that mini classic flap is worth the get!!!🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Amazing video Cassie, great topic and love that mini Chanel classic flap on your wishlist… definitely you!! X
As you mentioned each show had special bags , not w Virginie ….and of course do not get me started on the bags quality 😮
Still, each time I have $ to spend and I wanna buy another brand I can NOT bring myself to it 😅
Your MOM is so right !
LOL, I feel your pain. Great video. I'm with your Mom. ❤️
Loved the analysis on this! Once of your best videos!
I appreciated this video so much. That bag you have your eyes on is so pretty
If you consider history of brands, then you wouldnt have too many options
Every brand has a dark history. Grow up
I gave my opinion and you lot have nothing better to do than rag on it fine. I still stand that I won't buy from Chanel cause of the price and quality. So you grow up
@@katemiller7874 It is their choice, don't be rude about it. Take your own advice, your immaturity is showing.
You do such a good job on your videos!!
I caved and bought a le boy bag for retial but i was very picky with it. Like some of them were bad but then i found one that i loved.
Cass, the Durrty Thirty BD haul is EVERYTHING! Too many great pieces to choose a fav. I, too, treated myself to a Tiffany piece of jewelry for my BD, 2-10. 🎉🎉
Omggg YESS!! You deserve it, happy birthday!! 🥳💖
The supermarket show was the best one ever.
Cassie I loved this analysis. your commentary and research is fabulous
OMG there used to be another you tuber that did this sort of really well-Informed, interesting fashion news & commentary called Amaya Luxe, she disappeared 1 day and I was sad. Since I discovered Cassie things are looking up!! You’re Killing it 😊
That’s so crazy!! I’m glad you’re here though 💖💖
Moms dropping the Grandchild bomb 😂 great vid Quite informative & balanced 😎☕💋
Look at you here talking about a motherboard and main frame 😉 I was like "a what and a what!?" Girl got brains 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💐
I love how you are able smoothly switch from a toxic ex comparison to analysis of financial statements, a girl that can do both❤😂
This video was EXCELLENT!!
Gosh you are so intellectual and fashionable. Really enjoyed this analysis xx
Never forget the Super Market show - iconic !!!!
Cassie, do you know if the price of the WOC has increased?
It’s the history lesson for me!!! 🙌🏾
It is Mama Thorpe for me. Love her🥰🥰🥰
I’ve always wanted that green Mini too but the non-patent version! I hope you do add it to your collection!!! 💚💚💚
I hope you find that unicorn green mini Cassie !!it is so you!
awwww it was nice seeing mum!!! great video
💖💖
Love how well researched and intelligent your videos are! You're a mesmerizing teacher 😄 Best You Tube has to offer
Cassie! Congratulations on your engagement!!! Also wondering, will you be tempted by the mini chanel 22? Love you always!!!! So happy for you!!!
Thank you!! I’m not tempted by it but I do think it’s better than the larger ones haha 🙈💖
ooh more mama thorpe please! I would love to hear her opinions on how luxury and her relationship to it have evolved over the years
We got a visit from mother! I LOVE it!
You nailed it! I loved the show they did in Senegal! The collection looked so yummy
I do love a bit of Chanel I cannot lie. As soon as I see those double C’s my heart goes pitter patter❤especially the jewellery & some of the variations of bags & I have some heels & flats. But like you Cassie there are some things I wouldn’t buy.
Get it!!! That’s my favorite color too!!!❤ Chanel
LOL THE THUMBNAIL CAPTION 😂😂😂 there was never a truer sentence!!!
Hahaha I knew I wouldn’t be the only one!!
LOVE the mini flap!!
Love when Mom is on your vid’s ❤
