Some hate her because she hates men, but haven't you noticed the slight evolution between shuichi and Tenko's friendship before she died? She didn't call him a degenerate man, which means she's starting to get a little comfortable with nice men, Also after Kaede's execution when Kaito hit Shuichi in the face Tenko defended him!! and also an example of Gonta she's nice with him!! I see she treats a man nice if he treats women nicely!! I see that her character is Tsundere with men lol, If she had some time before she died there would have been moments you'd love her I'm aware of that, I didn't hate her which is why I just know her reasons for hating *some men* she has her own reasons, I also at first get annoyed by her saying it many times I just can't hate her, That's my opinion and my reasons for loving her THX for reading.

Tenkos hatred of men surely comes from her taking her masters words at face value, but I think it also has to do with the fact that she does "justice hero" work and the vast majority of violent crime is committed by men. Couple this with the fact that she lives at an isolated temple and has little contact with men outside of violent confrontation and you can see why she acts the way she does.

Well, Kaito was pretty silly, but Tenko was sillier a lot more often due to her very flawed logic, so I'd say she's more of a Hagakure by a long shot. At least, from what I've seen of this game so far.

That said, I'm undecided on Tenko's sexuality, and considering the evidence on both sides, it's unlikely that I ever will.

I love Tenko at first because I want to see her character development with Shuichi and other people. But after her death, the development moved onto Himiko, and that’s how I started to like Himiko.

I personally like Tenko a lot. I wouldn't say she's my favorite character, but after seeing her FTEs, my opinion of her definitely increased by a little bit and it made me tolerate her misandrist rant a little more.
Tenko is really just this naive child that believes everything she sees and hears/is taught and takes it at face value. I don't know why but making her realize that her Master was male when it should've been obvious makes all of this more hilarious alongside Shuichi's attitude and him saying "This notorious misandrist is actually accepting me..." like you can get how tired he is to, basically, babysit Tenko and finally relaxing at the fact that Tenko accepts and tolerates him, which is funny as hell.
She's one of the characters I wish could've survived so I could've seen more of her in the main story. I do appreciate that Himiko lived for her and Angie, though.

A stupid reason. Angie clings to her imaginary friend Atua because she is lonely and perceives it as a god because no one on her island ever bothered to tell her NO. Miu is vulgar bitch for a plethora of reasons: possible brain disorder from her accident, socially retarded, being treated as a prodigy(probably similar to Byakuya) But Tenko's reason for her...."quirk" is that she believed what her master said as most likely a joke, even though she had (seemingly) great parents to fall back on and set her straight.
Not everyone has to lead up to some tragic backstory.
Her, being abused by men is a predictable backstory. I think it's much better this way.
