This camera seems to be on a permanently reduced price of £74.99 on Amazon at the moment which is the right price for this camera. I can't believe I paid £119.99 for this! Oh well.
The blue is just an LED strip. The warm 2700K light is a monitor lamp placed upside down on the back of the piano and angled towards the wall - In this case, it's this one from BenQ. Great monitor / desk lamp actually but, in my case, it's ended up on my keyboard! - geni.us/sbplus
Could you do a outside test of walkie talkies TD ..ie built up area , near shops or buildings ...see how "clear ", they are ? Etc ...etc. Great channel
it is so disappointing that integrated or external webcams have such poor quality .... it would be so helpful if you could have a decent quality for streaming or recording videos .... thank you for the analysis
Yeah, they’re all a bit of a let down but I guess they’re all made to a budget. They’re ‘good enough’ for most people. I must say, I’ve been using this Anker camera in work since I bought it and it’s grown on me. The image is not perfect but the focus on the face and exposure accuracy is leagues above my Logitech.
In my opinion, your phone will do a better job than this. It also gives you more options for adjustment. I would spend on a good mount and desktop tripod for the iPhone. Nothing wrong with the webcam by the way, but it’s not as good as a fairly recent iPhone for video.
@@tdcattech thanks, that’s actually what I’ve settled on. How frustrating. Although in my research I realized I can select 60fps and also 4k options..on my iphone. Wow I really bought a high performing phone /camera. Lol
Always a possibility with that kind of setup but software is good at cancelling that so if you keep the speaker volume low and have a stable connection (steady ping times) you shouldn’t have a problem.
Pro tip: don't go on a rant why a better feature such as 4k isn't necessary for a review. Most people already know why they shouldn't pay 50% more for a product they don't need. We came here for this webcam not for a rant.

Imagine reviewing an android phone and going on an Iphone rant because these people don't know any better so assuming we don't either... Just my opinion
The zoom is a digital zoom/crop, the max resolution you get is 720p at 78FOV, which isn't bad, but could be better. A 2k+ image sensor would allow you to keep the 1080p resolution with image cropping down to a 60FOV, this is what Logitech do with their adjustable FOV camera. The contrast and colour quality is clearly better than the Logitech 922
@@Mike0 Imo if you just use this webcam with max FOV and HDR and then never touch the settings again this webcam is better than the logitech. I would even say its the best webcam for under 100 euro.
13:47 you switched to a regular microphone, you're not tricking anyone. The audio is trash on the c300 but would be great if you could just turn off the ridiculously awful Ai noise room canceling feature that did I mention is horrendous
No tricking intended. That's the section where I look at the software so I switched back to my NTG-3. I agree that noise cancellation is not great. It is often necessary but software (Teams, Zoom, Skype etc.) takes care of that nicely. It would be better if the camera mic was a nice clean feed.

This review seems somewhat unlike any of the other reviews of the same product, not sure what to believe!!.
I must admit, I try not to watch any reviews prior to filming so my thoughts are totally my own. What do others say about this camera?

The MBP camera and mic are both amazing. If it weren't for it having a bit too much motion blur you could use it as a vlog cam.

what would you recommend for recording courses and business videos? Jeepers I can't seem to settle on ANYTHING now. Should I just use my iPhone xs?

Hi do you have some kind of echo if you using the mic of the camera with the speakers on when doing video conference?
Always a possibility with that kind of setup but software is good at cancelling that so if you keep the speaker volume low and have a stable connection (steady ping times) you shouldn’t have a problem.
