We're finally in Skylla's good graces, and we need to earn our stay. So guess we'll be guided to Clan Berserk by a child-wait what
So as we see, the Icebreakers are trying to raid the Berserk villages, and we gotta help them, with a literal child giving weather forecasts. This surely won't go wrong...wait what do you mean I'm right? First chapter to be done in a single attempt in a long while? Oh...right.
Anyways, we adopted 2 children now.
Sigrid: WHO GAVE ME A SOPHIA?!
Ok, so we have a mid-game Shaman with not enough Con for a basic Flux tome (wait-WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE STARTS AT E-RANK, THAT'S NOT ENOUGH FOR FLUX!), that has a convo for a free Nosferatu that she can't use, and I think her biggest use is to recruit Ralfnir. I'm not kidding. This may be the worst Est archetype kind of character I've seen, atleast Zeiss and Nino are easily trainable and have a variety of weapons! Sigrid is just an objectively worse Emilia, and you already know how much I use her.
Ralfnir: This is the last Trainee. With growths that are pretty much worse than Aisha. My fucking god.
Like, atleast to his benifit he can get some kills thanks to the accuracy of the Slim Axe in combination to the enemy's bulk in this chapter (unlike Christina who has everyone around her die before she can do anything, or Elmer who can't make it to the battle at all), but his late availability in comparison to the rest still make him a poor candidate to train. He can barely even use his Wrath skill, unlike the simpleness of Natalie, Christina and Elmer. Just...don't bother unless you want canon stuff or smtn.
Wait a minute, I WANT the canon stuff, and I want to spite the devs! I'm going to make use of Ralfnir and I'm going to suffer the consequences of being a moron!
So, the battle is rather simple. The villages are guarded by Axe-wielding members of Berserk, Icebreakers (who for some reason also use Shamans and Druids with the stigma against Dark Magic???) want to raid the villages, and you kill the would-be-raiders. Rather easy to do in practice, but the Fog of War comes and goes, and when it comes, it does so in increasing power, limiting your vision heavily. Overall, this is still a fairly simple chapter, and Halfdan is never in enough danger for his existance as a Game-Over condition to get across as a threat, not like his Skill cooperates with his character.
Also, we get more story. Halfdan's a simp, Aubrey's cooperating with royalty, and I am very confused as to why there are Enemy Villagers. Was...was that going to lead into a Julius Ceaser moment origionally?
