A newbie question. I have read John Doerr's book on OKR and watched numerous OKR videos. From what I understand, OKR is methodology exclusively for a team. For a solo tech startup founder, what kind of methodology I can use to generate/deliver similar key results/milestones as OKR? Aka, is there such 1-person OKR? If there is, what is it?
This video did cover briefly 1 person OKR @25:00 but Ajah immediately gravitated to Google's early OKR - which was for a small team.
I tried many traditional goal setting schemes, drawing up milestones (deadlines)... Not working. Every thing I need to do (research, coding, finance) seems to be equally important (& I know I have to choose & can't do everything simultaneously & all key results are time-bounded - my achilles heel)
    Desperately need helps.

Hi there! No matter what your job title is, or what kind of work you do-media, government, nonprofit, healthcare, etc.- you can use OKRs for getting things done. It all starts with the question, “What’s my rallying cry?”
Every step of the way, you need to have a plan-and not just a to-do list, but meaningful goals that can be measured for the long term. Here's an FAQ on OKRs for individual goals - I hope it helps! [Elizabeth] www.whatmatters.com/faqs/okrs-for-personal-life-goals-examples/

Can I ask you a question please: What to do when we can't control our output KR?

While you might not be able to control your Output KR, can you look at other things to measure the strength of an output. We recently interviewed OKR Coach Peter Kappus about JUST this topic. I think you'll find it really helpful: ua-cam.com/video/Q34p-MoYwI8/v-deo.html [Elizabeth]
