  • There's a century-plus to cover for the Levis Vintage Clothing line to recreate and they have made 20 different unique pairs for Years for the Levi's 501 jeans from 1890-1984. This video will show you all of them plus the three general decade pairs and seven pre-501 pants that helped build the 501 jeans we know today. I'll give you one factoid about each pair in here. I have a playlist of 8-minute videos for each pair.

    How do the 1937s fit. Should I go true to size, or size up. I'm a 34 waist.

    • @denindenim
      @denindenim  2 роки тому

      1937’s are on the looser side. Tighter than 55’s. But you get the cinch to go down a half size. Look for 35 w if you can. Or 36 rigid and you can soak

    What about 501 from 90s

    • @denindenim
      @denindenim  Рік тому

      The LVC historic recreations end at 1984. I’ve done an episode about the ‘93 jeans but I don’t think they are similar to actual 501s from 1993.

    I loved the video and all the info.
    I'm probably offending people by saying that I hate that my pants size (32 30) is written on the leather patch. It makes me not want to tuck my shirt in. It's like wearing shoes that have the shoe size written on them for all to see. I'm not even an embarrassing shoe size either. Is it cool to flaunt it? 🤷‍♂️ Am I the only one that doesn't like this?

    • @denindenim
      @denindenim  2 роки тому +1

      🤣🤣. I can get skinnier but not taller. I do however get longer and cuff or hem. Women’s jeans don’t usually have the sizes written because Levi’s knows this. Dudes just gotta deal.
