I appreciate that Luke! I was able to source them without the full front clip (didn't make sense to pay for a hood, bumper, fenders and core support that I didn't need) before the pandemic off Ebay. These days they seem to be harder to find, but if you keep looking on Forester pages, they pop up every so often.

I would like to see you explain what it takes to make a reliable rwd conversion if possible. If I was to convert my subaru to rwd, I want to do it once. Thanks.
It's definitely a conversion that doesn't happen often and if you don't use the right part you'll be going through diffs and axles like crazy. I do plan to talk specifically about the RWD conversion so make sure to stay tuned for that!

Happy to do it! HD Tuning are really the only ones with an option for that aggressive-style spoiler, the fit-up was actually really good. I was lucky enough to find a full OEM crossport bumper/lip combo from front to back, these days that's a hard find however!
Don't look behind you? I like seeing the mopar boys cry in the rearview!!!! Where did you get the hood latches? I need a set for the STI cos anything 120-170ish the hood scares the shit out of me shaking. I see you took the windshield banner off? I'm also running the Black GS FMIC with red tubing, looks mean sitting in that front bumper with the cutouts. Overall you have one of my favorite Foresters, did really great with the styling!!! I watched the builld on this a while back, but interested to see what has changed since then as you drove it and figured out things you liked and didn't. Great build man on the exterior!! I am amazed you found the VSS rims as well, nobody wants to let them go. the chrome is nice but personally I would have went black to match the window section trim and the bottom two tone. But they definitely pop! Are those 6 pot brembos on the front?
Haha! Those are Aerocatch units, check them out here: (aerocatch.com/), I wouldn't chance going that fast without proper hood latches! Thanks for the Zak, hoping you get your Forester to the level you're dreaming of as well! I sourced this set from Ebay, BUT that was well before the pandemic and these days it's a tougher find 😭
Basically I cut a big hole in it, fitted a Dmax-Style vent, adhered it with body panel adhesive and bondo/sanded it flush. It actually feel lighter than it was, so my hood struts hold it up no problem!
@@thenotorious_a_r_t thanks man for the fast reply. After sending that message I found videos on it 🤦🏻. It looks good better than the ones people are using self tappers and not molding them.
Those are for the 04-05 generation, so it'll fit yours fine. You will have to get the full kit (bumper/lip +grill and headlight trim) and either the JDM bumper bar, or modify your OEM.
Hey art, I have an 02 wrx, under hard acceleration or when boost comes on the car starts to Buck, kind of like when you take off poorly from first when you’re learning a manual (also the car doesn’t like to accelerate over 70mph) It has 200k on it and it’s the original clutch. There’s no CELs. I’m thinking it’s the clutch and I’ve been planning on doing it. But I also am not 100% certain that’s the problem. Do you know what would cause this? I don’t have enough knowledge yet to diagnose this.
Hey! I miss my silver Bugeye, but I don't miss all the problems and rust it had, haha. It could be a misfire that the ECU isn't catching, but if you're on the OG clutch at that mileage with a "sports car", it's likely close to toast regardless. I would start with that and give the maintenance basics a refresh while you're at it (plugs, gaskets, old sensors, etc).
I appreciate the reply man! I do have an accessport on it and I’ve monitored it multiple times, it doesn’t misfire and I don’t pick up any knock when it’s. happening. I have fresh ngk plugs and coils in it, fuel filter is new. The TGVs aren’t stuck or anything. There’s no boost leaks and the exhaust flows good. I have the grimmspeed up pipe and catted downpipe too. Anyway not to ramble too much ^_^ keep up the good work and I look forward to watching more of your vids. Take care!
Could you possibly help me manage and or operate a Facebook group if people actually willing to help? You are very knowledgeable and if you don't have the time to do so I understand... the channel would be based off of Subaru specific the one I am apart of now is trash !

Thanks for the Zak, hoping you get your Forester to the level you're dreaming of as well! I sourced this set from Ebay, BUT that was well before the pandemic and these days it's a tougher find 😭
Can't wait to get that same wing lol
I was a little hesitant at first, but I’m glad a switched up from the OE-style wing, it fits the rest of the aesthetics much better 👌🏻
@@thenotorious_a_r_t you right it's fits SOOOO well, any issues mounting like body work or anything needed?
Not really, a little shaving on one side and some light filler before paint, but for one big fiberglass piece, it fit like a beauty!
@@thenotorious_a_r_t sweet, ill be ordering mine after I finish the entire 6 speed driveline swap on my forester
Dope! It’ll be a nice cherry on top of the 6spd cake 👌🏻
Let’s go!!
🥰🥰🥰
I don't like either of those rims, but they somehow look good on this car
It is a pretty unconventional look for a Subaru, glad you dig the look!
@@thenotorious_a_r_t for sure👍 I just got an 07 Forester sport X and If I can make it look a 1/4 as cool is yours does then I'll be super happy
@@tylerhall9412 You got this Tyler; just plan out your vision for the car and start building!
How did you do the hood? Was it hard to hold up also? I think it’s sick and would love to do it on my 01 sf
Can we get a cold start?
Defiantly, but I’ll save that one for the engine overview episode 👊🏻
Brooooo show us the Saitama Cressida 🤩🤩
Haha, you know I will, just gotta stay tuned!!
What year is the cross sports front bumper ? And does it require any modifications or just bolt and go? I have an 05 xt for reference
Those are for the 04-05 generation, so it'll fit yours fine. You will have to get the full kit (bumper/lip +grill and headlight trim) and either the JDM bumper bar, or modify your OEM.
Cool thank you! If you have a resource on where to find these I’m all ears!
@@christhomas3252 I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I come across a set!
Look a toaster!
😂 but smells like burning rubber, not bread 💪🏻
Clean your maf
I appreciate the reply man! I do have an accessport on it and I’ve monitored it multiple times, it doesn’t misfire and I don’t pick up any knock when it’s. happening. I have fresh ngk plugs and coils in it, fuel filter is new. The TGVs aren’t stuck or anything. There’s no boost leaks and the exhaust flows good. I have the grimmspeed up pipe and catted downpipe too. Anyway not to ramble too much ^_^ keep up the good work and I look forward to watching more of your vids. Take care!
Is that a Cressida in there too?!
Good eye, that’s my 1J swapped MX83 ❤ we’ll be getting to that one eventually!
@@thenotorious_a_r_t that’s dope 🤙🏻
Glad you appreciate a classic drift car 👏🏻
Could you possibly help me manage and or operate a Facebook group if people actually willing to help? You are very knowledgeable and if you don't have the time to do so I understand... the channel would be based off of Subaru specific the one I am apart of now is trash !
Hey Jay! I think that's a GREAT idea for you to start, but sadly I do have a little too much going on to be able to admin with you. Excited to see you start and grow something like this though!!
how much GD impreza stuff just bolts on?
As far as exterior almost nothing, BUT you’ll see when we get to the drivetrain episode, virtually everything 💪🏻
Front set of wheels >rears
Glad you like those VSKF's, I've always thought they were a super underrated wheels on Subarus.
Who cares if you have a Grim speed sticker on the back window even if you don’t work there anymore you can still support them if you feel like it. the car cool And different
Honestly, you've got a good point, I still want to back the company and all my friends that work there, so maybe it'll stay on a little longer than I made it seem like. Thanks for the appreciation!
swap out that rear window vinyl
I'll be working on some designs and likely switch things up before the new season starts!
My first 01 i bought had a huge Japense Devil head on the back window.. i feel like its forester tradition for a giant sticker on the back😂😂 i havnt had any on my last 2 tho. Maybe once i complete this build
Art can my sti and you forrester make a baby
😂 that would take A LOT of candles and smooth jazz, but it’s worth a try 🤷🏻♂️
@@thenotorious_a_r_t i think if there was a sweet garage with a drive on lift plus mustang dyno it would happen
😮👏🏻👏🏻
Time to remove all the Grimm speed advertising
Hi, I really Love what you have done to this machine. I have bought a stock one, XT Model, and my purpose it to build it and look pretty much like yours. I need to reach out, especially for the parts but I do not know the best way. Ive sent you a message on instagram. Lets link up.
