This video is awesome, I am an old cricut user but new to design space and all of these really are helpful hacks for someone who is cricut and computer savvy but wanting to get a bit deeper with their design space knowledge. Thanks for all the great tips!!
Corinne this was the best. I have been a crafty for over 40 yrs and have watched so many bad videos since I got my Cricut. This was right on the mark and I even learned some new tricks. Thank you so much.
I pretty much knew all of your tips, tricks and hacks but I did not know about the ungroup text to lines ....awesome and I never thought about moving my cut item to a different part of the mat to cut on a different medium...two awesome tips that will save me some time. Thank you.
Thank you Corinne - learned lots from this! I am new and still need to learn more - I am currently having trouble with customising my saved projects i.e., I can't seem to edit them after they've been welded?
Loved the tip on separating lines and I can use it tonight. Just curious what is the difference between "move to back" and "send to back"? I think that is how it is worded
Nice Video Corinne! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I think I do pretty well with design space but you did teach me a couple of things, so thanks! PS I DON'T want to be your UA-cam friend (no offense! lol)
I have Design Space on my iPad. It’s worked ok....until I needed to cut a design larger than mat size. I thought I could use the method on your Video with the large Marie Aristocat. Design Space would not let me. Do I need to buy a laptop so that Design Space works?
im currently trying to make a bead I made it myself using the shapes. I have it 3 different colors because I want to use 3 different color vinyl. Is there a way to keep it in place by color but move it on the matt to have different spot so I can just press them on a shirt besides doing it dot by dot (I described that the best I could lol)
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you! I couldn't figure out how to select them to do that. but I found another video of yours to help me figure that out! thank you so much.
I am working on moving my Etsy things over to my own website. Etsy shut my store off without reason or warning and refuse to bring it back until they figure out why they shut it down.
Great video. However, for changing the color on the bear couldn’t you just select what you wanted to change and pick a color that’s the same. Colors in design space don’t matter. It’s all what’s on your mat.
Not exactly. If you want all the items to cut as the same color and on the same mat you do need to make them the same color. It doesn't matter what color you choose for all the items it could be green or red or whatever. But to have them all cut on the same mat they need to be the same color. But yes in general select all and attach to make them the same color. A lot of people dont know what color sync is which is why it is shown.
Corinne Blackstone It’s was cool. I didn’t know about it. But I guess I didn’t understand the point of it but if you wanted to change it to a print and cut I can see it being very useful
Bummer....I hope they fix that. One of the tricks I used to do was to scale it until it was pretty darn close to actual size so I could get a better idea of whether I could weed something really detailed.
In Africa watching you...!!!
I hope you are having an amazing time!!!
Somewhat!!!! Working at a school !! We are exhausted already

Thanks Corinne Blackstone for sharing your tutorial with us I learned a lot
Excellent tutorial. Lots of great tips and tricks. Thank you. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
Thank you for all the neat information...learned so much...cutting using different size paper and the text movement information .
Thanks Corinne, learnt a few things today 😉
This was wonderful Corinne. Lots I didn't know.
Thank you so much. You are very kind to teach.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I learned quite A bit.
Thank you for the reminders and new things I didn't know.

You won’t be able to customize anything after a weld and save. That’s a permanent action.
Loved the tip on separating lines and I can use it tonight. Just curious what is the difference between "move to back" and "send to back"? I think that is how it is worded
It's just wording. They do the same thing :)
Thanks Corrine this was was very helpful!😍
Best tutorial, thank you so much!

This is so helpful! Thank you! You taught an old dog a bunch of new tricks lol
Budin cremoso
Could i do this with the Cricut maker & not the air?
Design space is the same for all machines.

Design space does offer a lot more options and ease of use on a computer vs a phone or tablet

Select all items of the same color and click attach. Do this for each color

Did you remove your etsy? I cant seem to get it to load.

How did you get it to do scaling increments other than 100,200, 300? Ever since the upgrade I haven’t been able to get 125% or 150% increments....
You cant that I have found

@@melaniejurgovan yeah I hope they offer a more diverse scaling option. It's really quite a pain
