I don't look at it as scientifically accepted or not. Everything depends on your sample use case right? And even then it does not mean it would work for you or me. The core in my opinion is to analyze oneself. The challenge I have with motivation is nothing will work unless we are ready to understand what happens in our little heads. I have been inspired by a lot of things. But all that inspiration has not translated into tangible benefits. What I am trying to share is my personal stories which again are very specific to me. But what I have seen is there are many who have similar stories and connect. The thing I see in Kerala especially is people look at science like it is a religion, just like how they see rationality. While I go the science route, I do not squeeze science into every conversation. It is like how people squeeze religion or atheism into conversations. There are studies one can go through in the motivation field. It is the personal quest that will ultimately matter for you. Not sure if that makes sense. My personal thoughts.

Sir, should not think that you are an atheist. Because most of engineers & doctors are God fearing. Jose N K REC Calicut in 1980.

What are scientifically acceptable motivational thoughts and how do motivational talks sometimes become destructive and negative
