@Omar Hi! Why do you make a single K with the index finger, and not with the ring finger? Do you do that because the rithm you play includes rols? Or is it because you use the Turkish technique?

Any tips on how to be able to do a clear tak sound with the pointer finger in the Turkish split technique? I’ve been playing darbuka for years and still haven’t been able to get that technique at all. :(

Try to hit very closed to the ring. Also very important the movement up & Down with your wrist. Also try to press with the tiniest part of your fingertips.
