I bought this game a week ago and I love it so far. It's like what the walking Dead game should have been
Enjoy! Its a good game, and has a lot of replayability. And especially once some of the modders are able to get their overhaul mods updated to the newest version it will get a big boost in that area. With your comparison to Walking Dead, you should look at War of the Walkers mod when it get's updated.
Its a good game. There are about 5 mods that give quality of life you should look into when you get ready. The overhaul mods are like entirely new games. Temreki has a video on it recently

@Guns, Nerds, and Steel, the Level 6 Nerd Armor is worth getting early on. It gives you a 50% chance for the extra point.
Edit: You get a guaranteed Legendary part as well from Tier 6 missions it seems. I haven't not got one from the Tier 6 missions I've completed.
I've got like 7 legendary parts already and im on Tier 3 day 11! Either they aren't that rare or I was extremly lucky (or its a bug XD)
@@infernaltourist9601 ı believe ıts a bug some people having really hard time with finding those and ı think this how it should be. it lets you get the best tool out there. ı have a lot of them as well from very simple loots.

You need to keep looting those tedious toilets to find more lower tier pistols to scrap for parts. I believe your chances increase once you perk into handguns or at least that’s how it has felt for me. As always, great series so far Temreki!

Hey if you need Legendary parts try digging some graves. I found 4 in the large graveyard with the crypt in it, and 2 in the small graveyard. BIG FAN. JHU.

This episode really highlights a frustration of the whole "stealth" mechanic.
I have zero issue if I mess up, get seen, make noise, whatever.
But there seem to be so so so many times where I could be LITERALLY invisible and the zombies will just aggro.
It makes stealth feel just shitty compared to heavy armor and beating through doors.
Also the fact that zombies spawn periodically via triggers but if you play on a high population server that's lagging, nothing spawns during the correct trigger and then will randomly spawn in, possibly while you're right next to them. Shouldn't force the players to know the triggers of each POI so that if nothing spawns when you hit a trigger, you know it's only because of lag and that some will spawn in the area you're going into at some point.
I've never had trouble with stealth in this game

This is a repeat comment, probably because you have multiple episodes recorded so sorry if this bugs anyoe. Like physician 1 heals sprains instantly in 1.0 they added for physician 3 that casts now heal breaks instantly. One of the better changes made in 1.0.
Parkour also nullifies them. Just a matter of what tree you wanna be in. 💜

Savage Country's are definitely more sought out compared to before, as you said it's the new Crackabook. I got lucky on my first 1.0 run and had a desert city with a good amount of both. Day 40 I was sitting on 12 legendary parts and already had a full t6 outfit for my daily use. Ended up just upgrading a few more weapons and then looting/farming gear.
Screamers are over the top in 1.0. I don't think I have had them show up at our base in numbers less than 3 and while doing the Shotgun Messiah shooting range we had a couple of them show up just as the final big wave spawned in making it quite a party. Another plus for the stealthy builds I guess. Thanks for another fun show.

3:40 - Physician level 3 instantly heals broken limbs when you apply Plaster cast or splint, not sure if its cuz of that in your case tho

I think that cave POI you went to is a reference to the movie The descent. It was about a bunch of minors that got trapped in a cave and turned into sort of kind of zombies they actually looked a lot like the crawlers.
Aranea Caverns the "Aranea" refers to arachnids aka spiders that is why it was full of spider zombies

The biggest issue I've noticed with having a base so tall is vultures. I'm based in the desert biome so there's pretty much always vultures around, and when I'm up on my roof they're usually flying around below me. Also, the roof defences I have for vultures don't seem to do much as most of the vultures seem to come straight into my fight window. and there's very little, if any, damage to the spikes on the roof. I feel like the only way to deal with them realistically is with SMG turrets but I am nowhere near being able to make those.
I always enjoy watching you play and dominate the zombies with total military tactics and weapons please keep up the gameplay.
Stalactites hang down, easy to remember if you look at the second part of the word and think about what else may be hanging down...

I know i wasnt the only one who suggested the Savage Country being a good spot for Legendary parts but its nice that you do read the comments.
You should be able to build custom ‘load out’ mannequins. Like your horde night set, next to the fighting position, mining, farming and such next to their used spots with a single button switch to speed up the process.
Lol, and there are the screamers that I was asking about on the last episode. I personally haven't got any screamers when I play until after this last update for the game. Now I see them constantly lol.

From Geology class- Stalagmites are the mounds on the ground. Stalactites hold the ceiling tight.
I have gotten legendary parts in any container you can loot clothes/cloth from. Luggage, drawers, clothing piles, clothing racks, and the hanging clothing bags.

Enjoying the series, you missed three holes in the wall above the end loot in the caverns. Found a legendary part in a weapon bag in one of them. Keep the great content coming👍🏼

32:30, stalactites are the ones that hang. Think of it as they're holding on "tight" to the ceiling :P
I havent had many issues finding armor parts or legendary parts, me & my 3 friends have about a dozen legendary parts, & i loot everything, sure garbage is mostly garbage, but that every 100th loot that ends up having good stuff makes looking through them worth it
Walking sleepers, sleeping walkers, sleepwalkers... and yet nobody has thought to call them Zomnambulists. It's like somnambulist, the fancy name for sleepwalker, but with a Z because zombie.
Great video GNS; keep up the good work! Love the editing style, especially the camera backing out high similar to a sports broadcast but the commentating is still from 1st person.
Also that aranea cavern is indeed a dick spot; it loves spawning 4/5 rads in the last part, but only after you jump down.
It's funny watching a streamer finally use stealth and bows to see how ridiculously OP they are, although limited once you've been detected.
Finding a lot of repair kits in vehicles, especially trucks. And seems Legendary Parts are from any clothing loot far as i have seen. Found a lot in those dry cleaning bags in closets.
Repair kits are easy to make tho

The stealthy build has me doing a lot of questing at night. The night stalker book bonuses in tandem with assassin armor set makes sneaking option better after dark.

I think there is a bug with stealth in this version. I'm running an intellect build with no points in agility and I still get zombies walking up to me that have obviously already seen me, but I still get the hidden strike bonus. It has happened in an open field so it wasn't a triggered zombie just running it's activation sequence when it couldn't see a target.

Stala-C-tites come from the C-eiling, stala-G-mites grow from the G-round

Great episode! And you got to kill me at the Pass n Gas. At least it was quick! That cave/cavern was something else again, so many zombies!
My take on the armor changes is that it devalues your chosen park path. Why go into farming at all when I can throw on the farmer's armor? Why go into mining perks when I can wear the mining armor? It seems like you can get more with fewer points of investment, which seems to make it matter less what "track" you decide to go. On one hand, that can be helpful, especially for things like farming that have a useless upgrade path. On the other hand, it gives pretty free value regardless of skill points and is tedious to do once you have armors for different scenarios. Obviously, you don't have to use them, but I find myself feeling like I am wasting an opportunity when I perform an action that would have been enhanced by another armor set.
Electric fences take damage from use, not just zombie attack damage. You can bury those posts behind several blocks and steel hatches, and the last post will slowly degrade as they are used throughout the horde night onslaught.
Turrets are your best bet, homie!! Also should use a machine gun and a club. Pistols and blade weapns are the worst lol
Dang zombies won't stay put, sheesh. Zombie mommas have to do a better job of raising their kids to listen. Ah well, good thing Tem has his Machete to get them back in line.
Everyone always says that the hunting knife is superior to the machete but I have to disagree 😈

Love the flag above your storage! Something is broken in the game with 1.0. Just jump and most of the zombies will go and attack the nearest tall thing. You can't see the HP on the bikers, but it's something like 1300-1500. On the plus side it definitely seems they increased the zombie loot drops in 1.0. Awesome video as always.
When I first ran through Jim's gun fortress I had to take the soldier statue in the corner for my base. He stand opposite corner to my bear statue.
Aranea means werespider so yeah, Aranea Caverns would be full of spiders.
Hey Tem, on top of the Savage Country is a hidden stash. Its towards the front of the building on the roof under an ac fan in the center.
I will keep that in mind for the next one that I raid!

For a POI basically named "_SPIDER_ Cave", there was a lot *fewer* Spider zombies than I would've expected to see. As for stalagmites and stalactites, I was taught the difference as "G for ground, C for ceiling. Remember this, and you won't need healing."
The cave system near the town I learned the difference in was known to have semi-frequent stalactite collapses.
Instead of using switches. Maybe try the pressure plates? They come really handy in saving dart ammo. Gotten very happy myself with setting traps up with the pressure plates.
It definitely feels like they nerfed the amount of legendary parts you find. On day 14 I had 10. Day 14 to now day 24 I've found 1.
On the armor, at first I was playing for max efficiency and carrying all kinds of armors with me. But that got annoying fast, so now I really only change armors when I'm going on designated mining/scrapping/farming runs. I will forever be grateful that I can now mine somewhat efficiently without having to go into strength. That's a real gamechanger.
Yeah the mining set is the best change to come to 1.0
I almost always play with 150% player block damage to allow me to build huge bases a bit more easily but I kind of feels like cheating now 😂
RNG can be a bitch or a blessing, I pulled 7 out of one Savage Country today on a tier 4 infestation. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

we've used that poi as a base before, it's cool, but the respawns suck, for whatever reason that POI is bugged, even with landclaims and bedrolls the zombies still respawn, and it's all trigger points, no sneaking. OH! and Jawoodle noticed that the barter hat doesn't work, it actually made stuff more expensive, might want to test it
I noticed when your arm “broke” it started at like 30 seconds and every shot from your gun or swing of your machete increased it.

From my experience 200+ loot stage seems to have more legendary parts in the loot. Also so many freaken blade trap bundles and shotgun turret bundles from tier 5 quests. Not to mention the insane amount of ammo.
I cant wait till you do a certain tier 6 infestation quest. Just for content because how insane it is.
I have a set of mining gear for when I want to spend a whole day mining. Otherwise I do assassin hood and outfit, preacher gloves and boots.
The original break to your arm at the start there was only like 2 minutes, instead of 2 hours like normal. No idea why. That's why the splint/cast reduced it so low.

Stalactites are on the roof (cos they hold on tight) and Stalagmites are on the floor (but one day they might make it to the roof).

If you have full set of Assassin armor, you should be able to trigger the spawns then go behind a corner and crouch and they will lose you. If you have T6, it is immediate but even T5 is good if you run back a bit then sneak back forward.

Easy nonmonic for stalagmites and stalactites. Tites the T points down Mites the M points up. At least that is how I remember them
Yesterday I lost my permadeath world while experimenting with screamers.
I saw one, I shot it, it spawned a seconds screamer, I shot that one and so on. I wanted to see what they would do to a tier 5 factory which I was standing on. At some point I started being careful and at this very moment I got sniped by like 3 cop spits at the same time killing me instantly.
Now I hate screamers like never before.

While armor swapping may be tedious it, for the most part, will replace the need to Forgettin' Elixir and re-spec so often. Re-spec is way more tedious so I'll gladly take the new system.
18:41 I don't know if you noticed, but they didn't know where you were when you jumped on top of the shelves. Wasn't it in Alpha 21 they made it so you could loose the zombies you woke up by sneaking away. Then you get your stealth bonus back too.

You mentioned using the pipe pistol to get the 5% trading bonus, I think they removed that. now only the 44 revolvers and desert Vulture give you the bonus.

Easy way to remember... the mites go up and the tites (tights) come down, probably with some degree of itching in the meantime! Haha!

Savage Country averages 6 or 7 Legendary Parts. All the clothes in the main area are where they hide.. Armor Parts too.
Tem, have you ever made a video showing how you use your spec cam in 7 days? Like how do you get a clean pan (like 27:10 ) while the footage is sped up?? I know Minecraft has a replay mod that lets you do stuff like that, but how do you pulls it off in 7 Days?
Think it was this episode or last when you raided the Savage Country and got so many legendary parts. Well I used eye candy, rogue hood, treasure mod, and a point of lucky looter only got 1 smh rng either sucks or clothing racks aren't effected by loot bonus 🤷
