I did trek several times in mountains, keep one thing in mind, never ever ride after sun go down. Hill station closed down and sleep within 7 pm, earlier i faced this problem in the way to Badrinath as we stucked some hours for land slide, reached a village at 8:15 pm 😂. Always find your night stay within 4:30 to 5 pm, that's safer. After 2:30 to 3pm daily rainfall is common and you will face that in Himalayas
Thanks for the advice, I will keep it in mind. I’m totally in agreement with you, what you said, so I have a habit of starting with the sunrise and stopping my ride with the sunset. I don’t struggle to ride in the dark and specially on the mountain and if it rains, things becomes very tough, you made me remember one of my cycling ride when I was crossing TANGLANG la pass on my route from Manali to Leh so before I reach on the top of this pass snowfall started. I was riding in heavy snowfall for 8 km. Then I manage to reach on the top, and after that I had to get down 22 km to reach next city, which was DEBRING that was a very difficult night for me and my hands got numb because of that extreme cold because I was not having gloves so I know how difficult it can be for a cyclist to be in such a difficult situation while riding, I will always remember you and your advice in future. Thank you so much for writing.
@10:56, This is *National Highway 55* and it is unclear whether these signboards were put up by the State Government or the Union Government. Generally, if the road is maintained by the State Government, then the signs are put up by the State Government. @13:15, I think this is the Nepali Hindu Festival called *Kukur Tyohar* (कुकुर त्यौहार) of honouring the dogs. Kukur means dog in both Nepali and Bengali. @13:25, *Tindharia* has the workshop for *Darjeeling Himalayan Railway* and the iconic steam locomotives are maintained here. @14:54, Same as the first point above. Here, it appears this portion of the *National highway 55* is maintained by *PWD* (Public Works Department) of the State Government. See comment by ARNABOSS. He gives more clarity.
Hey, thank you so much. I have not read such a amazing comment with the timestamps in my whole life on UA-cam. I can see how much hard work you had to write it full new information and answering all the questions which I asked in the video. I am enriched with the knowledge you shared. Thank you so much for helping me out with that lots of appreciation for you.
Hey, I’m so happy to read your comment and wish you all the best so that you can also go on your dream journey like I am doing these days. If you need any help. Feel free to ask. I would love to help you. My best wishes are with you always.
@WorldBudgetWheels thankyou bhaiya app ne mujhe samja app bohut humble ho abhi toh help nhi chaahiye lekin jarurat padati hai toh jarur contact krunga bhagwan app ka safar accha kre
Hey, thanks for your lovely comment. It’s so satisfying to know that my journey inspired you. Yeah, and let me also add that I love to show what I see on my journey, and it is such a pleasant feeling to be on a bicycle on those roads. Thank you.
Alcohol has some positive effects also, by the way Darjeeling is my dream place to visit, don't know when ll I be able to visit that dreamland, but I am getting the feel of climbing up through your camera and bicycle, thanks a lot Amit
Oh, if it is so then in my upcoming episode of climbing to Darjeeling, I will show you more about route the places, natural beauty so that you can enjoy it more tailored for the people who has not been to Darjeeling before so that they can know more about it, thank you so much for writing I enjoyed reading your comment.
Hey, thanks a lot, dear. It's nice to hear that you like the presentation! it came up because I wanted to tell the story of my cycling journey, so I think when you complete the journey and sit at a point and tell their whole journey step-by-step or 1 x1 share the information. This is how such kind of videos comes up, I am sharing my journey with all of your story. I’m very happy to hear that you like that. Thank you so much.
that was a road built by the state but later onbtaken over by NHAI however the handover procedure is incomplete and funding has not been allotted yet that is 2হ the board has not changed but it just indicates that change in progress roads must bear that board as it is related to insurance coverage and contractor agreement for maintenance in entire NE you will notice the BRO doing the same
I always receive such kind of informative and full of knowledge comments from your side and I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for being here on the channel and helping me to learn more about the place. I am visiting. I found your answer logical, but I am against of putting such kind of sign boards and that’s true in such a high volume. I see them after each 900 m or a kilometres, which is just vintage of money according to me, and if it is such a great practice, why it is not available in other states, except West Bengal. This is the question which always bothers me. Maybe if you can help with it.
@@WorldBudgetWheels govt.s in diff. indian states utilise different types of contracting practices depending on the market situations as these public spending based works are also an important aspect of generating local jobs and providing MNREGA etc support to the lowest income earners in places where population density is low they can try PPP or BOT type projects but in higher PD areas cost plus incentive etc other methods are also experimented on, and subsequently the whole project gets divided into smaller sub projects to accomodate more no of contractors and more teams of daily wage earning labourers hence the long path gets divided into smaller stretches where they place a board when the segment gets finished
I had been there a month back we went through the other route it goes through rohini it's a bit more beautiful I would say and it's passes through military bases and you can see loads of different birds especially innumerable peacocks. How would you compare it with the mountains of southern India?
Siri, I remember you don’t have to introduce yourself so in a way you are sparking something with me, which is saying that next time go through this another route via Rohini crossing those military bases, because how can I skip this route, which is more beautiful according to you let me see when I can make it happen. Next time. I will try using this another route.
Yeah, this is the music which I have downloaded from UA-cam music Library itself. I might be he’s also using the same track, but you noticed it well. Very much chances are there.
Oh really that’s really nice. Actually, lucky me that I got a chance to stay there. Maybe someday if you go to the hospital, you can say thank you and hello to MANOJ Daju, and also that honour of the house who provided me the permission to pitch my tent under that shed in front of her house, her son name is Stephen. If you go someday meet them
Your videos just bring a smile to my face every time I watch them...they are so relaxing and awesome...I am honored to be able to witness your journey❤🔥 Ps- I dont think I have seen you riding with a backlight or a front light...these mountain roads often donot have street lights...as it is, I would recommend you to not ride at all after sunset, but youre travelling without booking hotels in advance...that means you may often have to travel a bit into the night ....in that case, the mountain roads will become quite treacherous without a backlight and a front light...( I would recommend buying 2 backlights- one for the back of your cycle and another one for the front; in addition to the front light or head light...just for good measure).... Keep riding! Cheers!
Thanks for your kind words and valuable advice! I'll consider your suggestions about safety and lighting, and keep riding! and I am honoured to read the comment of yours. It’s such a nice feeling to have such comments on the videos which I create almost 8 hours for each one of them. Thank you so much and I will definitely work on your advice, I appreciate your concern.
Hey, thank you so much for sharing this piece of information. I was not aware of it. In a way I can say that this is upgraded version of noodles or Maggie, which is flavoured as per the need of the locals and no doubt that such kind of innovative idea will make a man as it already done. I purchased almost 10 packages later on from Darjeeling and was using them for a long time, I don’t know. I could not develop the test for it, but it is really good to eat.
Hai amith how are you. I have suggestion for you why you are not made food . It is very easy. you purchase gasoleen bottel and purchase small stove and cooking is very easy. Own made food is healthy. You are eat food all places on your travelling rute its not healthy hotel food not healthy some time not possible to make food but when you have time to make food its better make food. And gassolin bottel stove carrying is very easy these are very small. You think about my suggesition take care and keep going safely. Video is nice
Hi, thank you so much for your concern and suggestion. I have a store with a cooking set, but I don’t cook because it’s time consuming, but yes, in case of emergency, I would definitely be doing it because I am fully prepared. Most of my time goes to editing videos, so I cannot even think of Cooking myself. Another reason is in India. The food is very cheap so it doesn’t cost much so I believe having it at the hotel is always economical option.

Correct 😂 Pradhan is a common title there amongst Napali people. And out of intoxication that person told to take his name 😂😂😂
Oh really I thought that he is the Pradhan who is handling the Panchayat. I was not aware of it.
