This is an excellent interview. It is largely owing to Guy's openness and generousity of spirit rather than the questions or the skill of the interviewer. Guy's a bright lad and profoundly likeable. The sort of fellow who'd be great to have a few sherbets with..... lol.
Hearing that Richard is retiring from Elbow I am so happy I took the jump and came from Seattle WA., to Manchester UK. He deserves every right to have a life and I own whether or not I had balls enough to step up and follow! Ta you Lot!!
George Porter. Any interviewer who can get their subject to relax and open up is doing a great job! Do you think this interviewer succeeded? I think he did a great job - who cares if he loses his place in his notes, or doesn't sound like Michael Parkinson. Don't judge people by the packaging - it's their substance that really matters.....
