Hi Michelle, that depends on how much water is drawn. If you aren't sure, you should start with the S-size filter (No. 40404001). There is no point in taking the L-size filter straight away, as the filter should be changed after a year for hygienic reasons, regardless of whether the filter capacity has been reached or not. Furthermore, the carbonate hardness is decisive. If your water supplier supplies water with a carbonate hardness of less than 9 degrees, the activated carbon filter (No. 40547001) must be used.
