- After dating Julia for a year and a half, through lots of prayer and many amazing experiences, I finally asked her the question I had always wanted to ask. I asked my favorite person to marry me. Julia Poe, I love you, and will always love you for the rest of my life. Julia Petersen coming 2023!

Congrats Jacob and Julia! My dad was a pastor for 35 years and he performed countless marriages and counselings. He gave me away at my wedding but also performed part of the ceremony, one thing he said that always has stuck with me is....marriage is not 50/50, you can't give only half and think it will work. Marriage is 100/100, not only to your marriage but to your relationship with God! He was so right! 18 years and counting for us and I love my hubby more every day!
