Thanks Don: How you measure and layout the pipes is unreal. super work. I see aircraft quality beads on them..nice. You're knocking the punch list off real fast. things look great. Now you are going to hang around and work on the Mustang 'til spring and the snow melt. BTW the cleaned up prop drive looks good too. Have a good Christmas.
I think it would be interesting to hear the engine run without the muffler, but I'm kinda sick like that, lol! 😁😁 So, progress, no matter how small, is progress! It's good you guys got a warm break in the weather.
Just an idea that my Grandfather thought me many years ago. On your track for the canopy put some wax on it, this will help it to slide easier. Even if you put rollers on it still put some wax on the track. He used to do that on garage doors and hinges for doors in the house. Just plane old candle wax. Works better than any kind of lubricant.
Very impressive fabrication and welding!
Very nice work on the exhaust system!
Love watching your updates
You always do such a great job!
Nice pipework👍👌

I have videos of the engine running without a muffler, earlier in my build before the foam work.
Love watching the progress on your repairs and upgrades…
Outstanding Don….!!!!
Wish I had your talent….
You can, it just takes practice and drive.
Sucks you had an accident but 👏👏👏 that it flew so well. Very impressive

There was a small bank that the tires came up on, and by holding the brakes hard, it went over.
Id love to build one of these but wont ever be able to afford it. Oh well.
That makes two of us.
We didn't get crap for snow here in Cleveland.
You were lucky.
Nice welds. Are you using mig or tig?
TIG
Progress :)
Hi Don
Could you not recess those exhaust flanges to take the round copper exhausts gaskets
Would seal great with those
All best
It could be done but would be harder now that the flanges are welded to the pipes.
