A great performance, an innovative idea to present in the Kamalambika sannidhi.
The notion of many disciples of DKJ getting together, making the effort to go all the way to Tiruvarur & singing in wonderful harmony & unison is a delight to hear & watch.
It speaks volumes for the teaching of DKJ that all of them not onky sing wonderfulky well but so smoothly & harmoniously together - never a note or voice out of place. And of course, most commendable on the part of the singers - who include aome of the leading lights - for rendering the Krithis to such a high standard
And the obvious enjoyment & total involvement with which every1 sings, immersed in the music, is remarkable.
And great percussion & string accompaniment to go with the si ging.
A great experience for me - if the recording could be properly re-mastered, a CD could be published.
I don't know if there was an audience before the singers - but there certainly was 1 behind them!
The light chestnut roan pony @ right arrived halfway through Krithi No. 5 & the dark bay behind it joined by the beginning of this number.
Even the musicians note their presence with approval (see the beginning of this video)!
The ponies certainly seem very absorbed in the singing & enjoying it - surely a novel but lovely experience for them.
On their behalf as well as on my own account, my grateful thanks to these musicians - it was great, an elevating experience.
    Hope this could be repeated.

The MD Navavarnam sung by DKJ / Disciples is always evergreen. The ghanta / Ahiri and Punnagavarali kritis oozes in melody particularly.
