Chasing CSX 1850 from Atlanta to Fairburn, GA - April 26th, 2024

Yesterday I got word of I141 approaching Atlanta with CSX 1850, the L&N heritage unit, leading. When I got to Atlanta he was parked. After another train passed, I chased I141 all the way to the Fairburn Intermodal Ramp. It was nice seeing CSX heritage unit for the first time.

Very enjoyable.... kind of neat that a L&N Heritage unit had departed from a yard named for a former L&N president......John Tilford.

CSX 1850 casually having trouble going up a grade at 7:28
edit: great video, only seen 1850 2 times, one on a short and 1 leading on another short, got the distant horn of 1850 too.

It’s not really a grade, it just had coupler slack while trying to move
