you can go right further than the enemy goes left and if you time it right you end up behind everyone and its absolute therapy!! just use the map, see how left you would go if you were on the other spawn, then go more right than that point from your current spawn, gets me braindead 2 or 3 kills per game. Even if you get rwr they don't bother going after you bc they assume you get shot by other people 😂

Back when the 21 SAU was the top dog I used to always go right. Just brings so much chaos to the other team and works 8 out of 10 times.

I request a video on the He 100! It's stupidly fast for 1.7, can hold 550+ km/h at deck no problem, excellent climber, only downside is it's engine likes to burn so keep an eye on the temp. Not too OP, and super fun! Bring it to a higher br for a challenge if you want

on most maps i go left cause the times i go right im met with 9 enemy planes by my self. 😅
but on some maps you have to go right as there is just way better cover

Also you really gotta use the MTI mode for this radar to work.
Pro tip for people who do bombing in WT: keeping close to the deck and going directly towards the enemy bases (while being conscious of enemy missiles and such) pretty much guarantees you a base or two that your teammates won’t go for on most maps.
on some maps it's more save to go right, when there are mountains that allow some hiding for example... on the city map you'd even be saver to go right than left :D
Concerning the liftoff: I not only sweep back my wings if possible but also turn off the radar just in case that closes some bleed valves in the engine because it doesn't need to produce so much electrical power xD though I doubt that's modelled, but just in case ^^
Sweeping the wings back should actually be slower. While there is less parasitic drag, the induced drag should be way worse than the parasitic drag with the wings not swept. As you get your speed to like 600 to 800km/h, it should be better to start sweeping the wings.

@@echalone It is. When you go into the F4 view you can see the flight path vector. The faster you fly the closer it is to where the plane points. As you fly slower it is further away from the where the nose points and that is what causes the induced drag.
If you sweep the wings fully back at 1000km/h and start turning, you will lose huge amounts of speed. The wings generate less lift and so the plane is much slower at moving its flight path and the angle of attack reaches so high that the plane acts as an airbreak because it is basically flying sideways.

Taking the IR ones first and go right "ambush mode" is super fun.
Thats why for example the superstructer on carriers are on the right. As pilots have the natural to go to left on a bad landing. Most folks are righthanded and you tend to pull the stick towards your body when you are in a stressfull situation i guess?

It’s why also there terrible win loss on American teams ect, because the teams just FLY LEFT and allow the friendly stragglers to be picked off then the teams are unbalanced.
But it’s also EXACTLY why I love using the F15/F16 because it’s exactly what they are built for

Tbf I do go right depending on the map, also I’d love to see phly play the Pz III N or 9.3 Isreal paired with the Ayit as you can make a great A2G loadout, with the AGM-62/65’s and also sidewinders. (And when I did use to play the MiG 23 I did swing my wings back as early as possible, and I’m also certain that R60 on the F-1 missed as that aircraft doesn’t have flares)

Trying to grind out Swedish tech tree is such a massive pain with the Draken. Trash amount of flares (which aren't even that useful against many opponents). Then you face MiG-23ML constantly, yeah, much fun..
on jets with a good enough radar, you can locate the enemy team from takeoff and just follow them but stay on the outskirts watching for people to break-off from the herd, and then take them out and disengage to reposition
I also like locking early (45-100km) to see if anyone goes defensive and separates themselves from the pack

The Mig-23ml is like a Rogue, comes in, does you from behind and then disappears.
Phly go ahead and go use the x-ray on one of "paper tanks" they now have a breakdown of what it is and how much like the M1 KVT has composite armor but the composition it 38mm of rolled homogeneous armour, then 360mm of external composite armor with nera elements, then the last layer with 101mm of rolled homogeneous armour

Aircraft carrier islands are to the right because they (UK, JP, and US) found out that pilots prefer going left after takeoff. The Japanese tried islands on the left twice, but eventually changed their minds and went permanently right.
I don't think it's actually related to Air RB everyone flying left, but it's a funny coincidence that WT pilots also prefer going left

I believe the F-1 used rockets because he was likely ground pounding, he doesn't even get flares.
Going left in top tier air RB is more of a necessity than a choice. Like you can go to the right but you are facing the entire enemy team by your self. Going right in air RB require you to have a aircraft that have a lot of missile that you could launch very quickly and alot of flare f-14B for example is a very good plane for going to the right side as you can launch the phoneix at high altitude around 30 ~ 40 km before the enemy could launch their SARH missile dive down with the phoneix then using the 9l's doing this caught a lot of enemies off guard. and get me alot of kills very early. but even with those 8/10 you still gonna be dead.

Typically going left puts you near the map border so you don't have to worry about enemies in that direction.
Steve, since you had a hard time playing the MIG19PT, I want to see you play the F100 Super Sabre, that thing is just as bad in the current state of Air RB.

I’m surprised you used the R24T’s. Those R’s are just deadly at head on encounters at 5-15 km and 3-6 km for the side aspect. Those T’s bite flares so hard it’s difficult to use them unless you just do a perfect surprise attack.
I go right every match in the gripen, the only way to make air rb fun is to dodge 30 missiles and keep the whole enemy team occupied till your teammates come around

Aren't there 3 afterburner stages? I remember testing it last year and it each gave me 3 different fuel depletion times, speeds and screen shakes.
