because extreme is a bit unforgiving if you made slightest mistake, specially the time trial/checkpoint one, if you made a single slip up (too oversteer/understeer) usually it will cost a reset, or even a restart for the trial.
I agree with @Ferry Fernandus. It's 2023 and I tried playing the old NFS titles again. Currently on stage 4 (Million Dollars Highway). The cops are brutal
