What i have always liked is his honesty, he genuinely loves what he does, even his old band mates! He knows his place, he is always my first choice to have a beer with!
@relaxingmusic101 I dont criticise Mr.Rotten for not being a rebel I criticise him for pretending to be one. If you think he was in it for anything but the money you're kidding yourself. Incidentally Malcolm Mclaren called the whole thing "The great rock and roll swindle". I cant help but agree. I'm puzzled as to what tye RAF have to do with anything.
@sail1948 You called him a rock n roll hero and rebel, he doesn't think that, neither do i. What he did do in the mid 1970's was open the rock n roll door wide open, against all odds, with virtually no support. Rotten and his band of misfits turned rock n roll on it's ear! The Pistols were never meant to be successful, their problem was they actually made a great album, one that has influenced thousands of rock bands ever since, some good, some bad! He can advertise whatever he likes.
@relaxingmusic101 Ha Ha Ha!! I've often fought in the streets but have to admit it wasnt against the government. Why do you assume that I think a real rebel has to fight against the government?
I loved him was he was young, and I love him when he's old. Long live Johnny Rotten!

Lydon = Most intelligent human being on Earth.

"It's peace... Or peace off" LOL

Fuck 'er for us Johnn
Lydon has been telling the truth onstage and off for 30 years. So keep on posting about how much it bothers you.
You rarely see him not slagging off the interviewer...
@MottTheWot Yeah Johnny Rotten, rock n roll hero and what does he do now? Advertises butter! Wow what a rebel!
Peace or "peace" off, lol.
@3909clancy maybe in your head but in reality he's still relatively unknown

@GrindDevonIntoBitz Yes, well done - that is the pun.
Are you serious?
@relaxingmusic101 How do you know I dont fight in the streets? You've no idea who I am or what I do.

Don't ever talk crap about joe strummer.
Why is he pretending? Maybe you need to understand what rebellion is.

I know what rebellion isnt and thats advertising butter. It isnt appearing on some trashy tv show either. Face it, he's an establishment lacky.
Joe Strummer was a far better writer than Mr.Lydon.
People move on in life, I don't hang around with the same people I did 4 years ago.
