- The town of Mahdia held its first tribute ceremony for the victims of the horrific Mahdia Secondary School dorm fire, which claimed the lives of 19 children. The ceremony was held at the site of the tragedy and was attended by President Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Brigadier (retd) Mark Phillips, government ministers, diplomats, and others. Schoolchildren led the tributes in song and poetry.
The people who constructed a building that caged these kids in like animals with no escape route should be held accountable also.

The Mayor does not know what construction is happening in his town and now he is desperate to blame the central government.
@@rayjil7435 he is an ineffective mayor. There should be codes for these buildings and people to ensure those building codes are adhere to.

So so sorry my condolences to the families. The news said student started the fire because her cell was taken away,well I guess she did not mean or think the fire will get out of control and kill many of her friends. She will have to live with that all her life and maybe jail time too.

A girl got her phone taken so she got angry and set a matress on fire and like it cought a blind and soon the building was in flames
Today children are future criminals. Can not show feedings for them at all.
