- Four families were plunged into mourning following an early morning accident at Canal No. 2, West Bank Demerara on Sunday which claimed the lives of four teen friends.

I am not from Guyana , but this is extremely heartbreaking. Deepest condolences are extrended to the all 4 families. This can't be easy to digest. No words can bring immediate comfort and closure - Only Time. Thoughts and duas are with you at this time. Really Sad ! 😥 Peace

Hello everyone i am a close family member of deviyani narine and amiesha jaikaran. On behaf of the parents i thank you for your support through out time of mourning. Unfurtunaltey deviyany narine and daniel/yogi has allready been cremated together as a loving couple and tomarrow the two other individual will be cremated again thank you for your support

Also, the youngest dude was driving here. He was 17. We shouldn't assume things about him but you know young Caribbean men behind a wheel! 4 YOUNG lives gone! I despise when that happens.
All of these people were probably planning their futures and all that and in a couple moments it comes to an end.
Lives are been taken away so easily on our roads.Speed was definitely the main factor here and I cant undrstand why ppl dont reflect on the carelessness and the danger of driving at very fast rates on our roadways. We can stop this nonsense if the GPF put strict measures in place to combat this massacre thats happening .Until these are not implemented we are going to continue to have these muderers ,yes MUDERERS STILL DRIVING

The entire Caribbean needs safer cars, less arrogant drivers (not trying to take away any sympathies for the deceased) and for people to wear on their seat bealts. Everyone. Including back passengers.
No one in the Caribbean does the latter. Entire families have been lost to it.

This is sorry to hear and may god rest these souls in peace and, but such is life we born we die when god ready. Whether we on land , in air at the sea . When the time meet to depart this world no one can't stop . The families will be in deep shock but as life goes on we have to forget and move on . May prayers and strength be with these family
