Its such a fortune to have shaykh hamza yusuf within our Muslim community at this time, which might be just the biggest fitna that ever appeared. May Allah preserve him and keep him steadfast on his way of helping Muslims throughout the world, and spreading Islam in the real light. Thank you for the uploads, but please chill out with the ads. It’s really counterproductive when you’re listening to Shaykh Hamza try to pull you out of this consumerism trap and have to listen to 4-5 ads per clip. Causes lapses in your focus on the message. When I saw one day a girl call her mother a b*tch, I knew something was real wrong in the US. I will never have respect for that girl. It's been 15 years but every time I meet her like in the grocery stores, I think of that very moment I heard her say that to her mother. I imagined just having that to my parents and I cried so hard. May Allah guide us.

I have a great deal of respect for Sheikh Hamza but I disagree with his stance on genetic modification of plants. Yes there is a great deal of exploitation and greed when it comes to some companies introducing plants that only thrive on certain products, but at the same time there are efforts that really try to benefit mankind such as developing rice varieties that grow 50 percent more grain or enabling plants to resist common diseases. Similar to the human body, we would not have come very far in medicine if all research efforts were met with this hubris argument and this talk of knowing our limits. Rather take a nuanced approach and call out greedy and reckless behavior while also praising sincere efforts that work toward betterment of mankind.

And the blood of those innocent people are also on the hands of those who give them RIBA/interest
The original monotheistic Hebrew Scriptures tells us that it is the lack of knowledge whereby man is destroyed, but man rejects knowledge especially from the GOD of the Hebrews. Hosea 4:6.
So if the world rejects the word of GOD of the Hebrews shall then be rejected by this self same GOD along with the children of those who have rejected the GOD of the Hebrews.

Another thing that destroys man is Sufism. Hamza translated the Burda of Al-Busiri into English, so there is no way he doesn’t know that book has shirk within it. May Allah rectify these affairs. Ameen. Bid’ah that comes with sufism is dangerous.

“Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, and the worst affairs are newly invented matters. Every newly invented matter is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.”
[Very well-documented narration reported authentically from numerous sources to include; Al-Bukhari, Hadith 1623, 1626, 6361; Sahīh Muslim 98; al-Tirmidhi 1628, 2046, 208; Imam Ahmed has the longest and perhaps the most complete version of this sermon in his Masnud, Hadith no. 19774.]
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever innovates into this matter of ours that which does not belong to it, it will be rejected.”
In another narration, the Prophet said, “Whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our matter will have it rejected.”

Imaam Maalik Ibn Anas (d.179H) - May Allah haver Mercy on him - said, “Whosoever introduces into Islaam an innovation, and holds it to be something good, has indeed alleged that Muhammad (sallalahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) has betrayed the message. Read the saying of Allaah - the Most Blessed, the Most High,
“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your religion.” {5:3}
So that which was not part of the Religion at that time, cannot be part of the Religion today. And the last part of this Ummah cannot be rectified, except by that which rectified its first part.” [Related by al-Qaadhee ‘Iyaadh in ash-Shifaa’ (2/676)]
There is no deviation from shk hamza,s message which goes against the teachings of the Quran and sunnah of the prophet . He is a learned scholar
We don’t know you, and know Hamza Yusuf, so your testimony is actually valueless according to Sharia. You could be an enemy of Islam. There is nothing wrong about sufism. Great Muslims were sufis, like Salahuddin, Omar al Mukhtar, Abdulhamid II, Muhammad al Fatih, Imam Shamil. This is while destruction was brought upon Islam by anti-sufis like ISIS and Bin Laden.
You quoted Qadi Iyaadh, and he is a great Sufi scholar.
